Recently we got some exciting news about a few of these returning offerings and we’ve been working on sharing all of that with you. But in addition to exciting news we also got a sneak peek at something BIG and special that’s returning to the Festival of Fantasy parade, and we can’t wait to see it fully back in action in the parks.
It’s been a LONG time since we’ve seen a traditional daytime parade in Magic Kingdom!
Festival of Fantasy Parade
Parades returned in a smaller way during the Christmas season, and the holiday parade was available for daytime guests to see for a limited time. But the traditional, non-holiday-themed parades have been gone from Magic Kingdom since the pandemic closures. Previously, Disney shared the BIG news that the Festival of Fantasy Parade would be returning to Magic Kingdom in 2022 and now we’ve got an exciting update!
It’s 2022 now, and a lot of things have returned to pre-pandemic normal in Disney World.
Crowds in Magic Kingdom
Almost all of the Disney World hotels are open now (and the last one is returning at the end of March), and most dining locations are also open again. We’re still waiting for a few more things to return, like some of the restaurants and shows around the parks. We’re really missing a few fan-favorite productions, but good news: a lot of Disney World entertainment is coming back soon!
