Every day is a busy one at Disney World, but soon, things are REALLY going to ramp up.
Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party kicks off on August 15th, the EPCOT Food & Wine Festival starts on August 28th, and the huge Destination D23 event will begin the very next day. But, if you’re heading to Disney World anytime soon, you need to know about this Festival of Fantasy parade change at Magic Kingdom!
Boo to you!
It may only be February, but Disney likes to celebrate the holidays early! In just about six months, Halloween decorations will start to pop up in Magic Kingdom as it prepares for the first Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party of the season. Although tickets and dates have not been announced for the 2025 Halloween party season, Disney is currently preparing for the Halloween season, and you could have the opportunity to be part of a fan-favorite parade!
We don’t know about you, but we are struggling to keep up with all the changes happening in Disney World right now. Sure, the EPCOT transformation is finally complete, but there are still so many more changes in store.
Magic Kingdom will be getting a huge expansion. In EPCOT, Test Track is closed so it can be reimagined. In Disney’s Animal Kingdom, DinoLand, U.S.A. is going to get a re-theme. Then Disney went and announced that it’s also completely changing Genie+. We’ve been doing our best to answer all your burning questions about the NEW system replacing Genie+, and now we want to talk about attractions that are NOT a part of it.

We spend a LOT of time on the Disney World website.
Checking park hours, looking for new menu items, searching for news on EPCOT festivals or ride refurbishments, or even just confirming details for articles we write. We’ve become pretty familiar with that Disney World URL! And during a recent glance at the website, we discovered something really weird.
The shopping in Magic Kingdom is pretty unmatched.
Well, okay, Disney Springs is the ultimate shopping location in Disney World, BUT The Emporium on Main Street U.S.A. is just so iconic! While we don’t recommend shopping at the beginning of your day, so you don’t have to carry your bags around for the rest of your hours in the park, we didn’t really think there was a bad time to shop. That all changed when one of our reporters ran face-first into the reason you should NEVER go shopping after this in Magic Kingdom.
If you plan on visiting Magic Kingdom this weekend and beyond, we have an important update to share!
If you’re a fan of Magic Kingdom’s Festival of Fantasy Parade, REJOICE! We previously reported that the parade will once again be performed TWICE each day, and now the day that change becomes official is nearly here! [Read more…]
