PHOTOS: The Two New Genie+ Experiences Are Now Available in Disney World

If you’re going to Disney World anytime soon, there’s one hot topic that you NEED to know about…Disney Genie+!

The new offering in the theme parks is a paid system ($15 per person, per day) that allows guests to skip the standby lines for certain rides and attractions, walking instead through the faster-moving Lightning Lanes. Ever since the system was introduced back in October, we’ve seen several changes, and now two more attractions got added to the list!

Disney World Begins Pulling Back on Cavalcade Showtimes as Parades Return

Disney World is slowly but surely returning to pre-pandemic operations, with updates such as additional restaurants reopening and more character meet-and-greets being offered throughout the parks.

And, just recently we saw the return of the Festival of Fantasy Parade! This marks the first regular daytime parade to return to Disney World since the 2020 closure of the parks (minus the Christmas parade that we saw during the After Hours Event). Happy March, everyone! It’s Spring Break season in Disney World and there is a lot going on this month, so you should be prepared if you have a trip coming up.

And, yep — Spring Break season starts at the beginning of March for a lot of colleges and universities, and then it will last at least through Easter (which is April 17th, BTW) for other schools around the country, depending on where you live. It’s been a LONG time since we’ve seen a daytime parade in Disney World. We’re not talking about those bite-size character cavalcades, here, we’re talking about a full-fledged, fantastical, good-old-fashioned Disney parade. It’s been too long! Now that Disney entertainment is coming back to the parks, we’re preparing for new and returning shows, parades, and more.
