Disney World is celebrating V.I.PASSHOLDER Days this summer, and the festivities end on July 31st. For the mega coaster fans out there, you can’t deny that Six Flags has a lot to offer. And in recent months, we’ve been following the progress of a new coaster coming to Six Flags Over Texas — one that will break some wild records and offer a new level of thrill! Now, a NEW date has been set for its opening.
It’s not uncommon to have ride closures in Disney World, but sometimes, we see rides close for rather uncommon reasons.
“it’s a small world”
We’ve seen shutdowns in the past due to wildlife invasions or flooding ride vehicles, but this week, it seems that “it’s a small world” in Magic Kingdom had to close due to a fire.

Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party is one of the major highlights of the season, running on select dates in August, September, and October. It’s rife with exclusive entertainment and fun offerings, but it’s also POPULAR, and some dates are sold out for the 2026 event!
We’re gearing up for a BIG addition to Disney’s Animal Kingdom Theme Park next year!
Disney’s Animal Kingdom
Earlier in 2026, DinoLand, U.S.A. closed completely to make way for the Tropical Americas land coming to the park. This new land will feature attractions inspired by Indiana Jones and Encanto, along with new shopping and dining. We can’t wait to check it out when it opens in 2027, but for now, we’ve got a big construction update!
Some may argue that the snacks in Magic Kingdom outrank the meals, and while there is a long list of ones I love here, there are some snacks I straight out avoid!
