The 50th Anniversary Celebration has kicked off in Disney World.

Steakhouse 71
And with that came loads of new merchandise, decorations, snacks, and even new restaurants opening at the resort. But which new Disney World Restaurants are worth your time and effort?
Well, we’re going to tell you — these are the restaurants you’ll want to make sure you get those advance dining reservations for!
Steakhouse 71
When The Wave…of American Flavors closed to make way for Steakhouse 71 at Disney’s Contemporary Resort, we didn’t know what to expect. But after Steakhouse 71 opened, we were shocked! And we were thorough in our research — we had breakfast, lunch, AND dinner there!

That’s a good looking plate!
Breakfast wowed us with both its price AND its food, and we can highly recommend everything we ate, which includes Walt’s Prime Rib Hash, the Steakhouse 71 Seasonal Pancakes, and the Steakhouse 71 Feast (like we said, we’re thorough).

Steakhouse 71 Breakfast Feast
This is classic breakfast food turned up a notch, and we are here for it.

And lunch is good, too! From the Bread to the Sea Salt-dusted Potato Brioche (BREAD!) to the French Onion Soup to the Stack Burger to the Ambrosia — everything on the lunch menu is a winner.

And we loved the more unique options, too!

But, y’all, dinner was where we were completely blown away. The menu focuses on more steak options, and let us tell you that the 12-oz Roasted Prime Rib & Classic Yorkshire Pudding is one of the best steak dishes we’ve had at Disney World! And then there was the absolutely divine Steakhouse 71 Chocolate Cake that has like a million layers (okay, so maybe a little less) that had us craving more.

Now THAT’S a slice of cake!
But, hey, if you can’t get an ADR for Steakhouse 71, you can also drop in on the lounge. However, note that the lounge bites didn’t impress us as much as the food in the restaurant (except for maybe the Stack Burger, which, yes, we ate twice).
Here’s Our Dinner Review of Steakhouse 71
La Crêperie de Paris
Over at EPCOT in the France Pavilion, La Crêperie de Paris recently opened. And this is is one of the most authentic crêperies we’ve seen at Disney World because the savory options here are galettes (meaning the crepe is made with Buckwheat flour — just like in France). But we even found the salad here delicious!

The galettes were also a winner, although we did like some more than others — we recommend the Saumon Galette and the Savoyarde Galette. The sweet crepes are a hit, too — Nutella fans will love the Gourmande Crêpe, while fans of fruity flavors should try the Melba Crêpe.

However, if you want to grab a crêpe to go, the restaurant also has a to-go window, Crêpes à Emporter. And the to-go window has a different menu, and well, we actually decided we might like the to-go crepes even better! From the Bechamel, Cheese, and Ham Galette to the aptly-named Ratatouille Galette to the Vanilla Ice Cream Crêpe to the Red Berries Crêpe, this is a good option for a quick snack on the go!

Space 220
Also over at EPCOT, the widely anticipated Space 220 finally opened its doors (or should we say, it opened its space elevator). And the real reason you want to go here is that this is like a theme park attraction WITH food. This is a dining experience unlike any other because you’ll take a space elevator up to Centauri Space Station and dine among the stars! And who knows what you’ll see floating around up there!

Inside Space 220
Lunch and dinner are both prix-fixe menus, with lunch costing $55 per person and dinner costing $79 per adult. So it’s a little pricey, but you are TOTALLY paying for the experience. But we have to admit that much of the food surprised us. Not EVERYTHING was a hit with us, but for lunch, we really liked some of the signature space-themed cocktails, as well as the Blue Moon Cauliflower and the Flat Iron Steak. Note that lunch is just two courses.

Space 220 Lunch
We also tried dinner, and the 8oz Filet Mignon was AMAZING, along with the Slow Rotation Short-Rib and Carrot Cake. Again, dinner is even pricier, but you get three courses, instead of two, so take that into consideration.

Slow Rotation Short Rib
However, our best bet if you want to skip the frustration of trying to get a reservation here (and folks, it is HARD because it books up fast) is to get in line for the Lounge (it’s first-come-first-serve). Not only can you go up the space elevator, but you can also order off the pre-fixe menus here. And there are some lounge bites available. If you’re going to eat in space, this is the least expensive way.
