Especially hotel options like Sebastian’s Bistro, which may fly under the radar!
If you’re currently on your Disney World vacation, we hope you’re having the most amazing time! We’re here to help make sure you’re not caught by any surprises during your trip, and we have something to report.

Disney’s Contemporary Resort
If you’re staying at Disney’s Contemporary Resort today, June 3rd, and tomorrow, June 4th, you may have noticed a sign has popped up in the main building. The sign is notifying guests of some testing that will be done during the day, so let’s take a look at what it says!
For many, room service is an essential element of a hotel stay, arguably seen as more of a basic necessity than a “perk.”
Which makes it all the more surprising that right now there are only TWO locations on Disney property where hotel guests can order room service!
If you’re planning a trip to Disney World soon, you need to stay in the loop about upcoming closures!
It’s not uncommon for rides, hotel pools, attractions, or other offerings to close temporarily for refurbishment. Thankfully, Disney World typically announces those closures in advance on its website so you can prepare for your trip. And today, we’re here to remind you that a popular restaurant is about to close for several months.
We’ve tried literally EVERY cake at the Cake Bake Shop on Disney World’s BoardWalk, and we have PLENTY of thoughts.
From chocolatey goodness to peanut butter crunch and beyond, there’s a reason this spot is so popular. While the cake slices aren’t exactly cheap, they’re MASSIVE, delicious, and made with quality ingredients. So, when we saw that Cake Bake Shop teased a NEW flavor coming soon, our minds were racing with what the possibilities might be!
What a WEEK we’ve had in Disney World. SO much new stuff has arrived in the parks, like Rock ‘n’ Roller Coaster Starring the Muppets, Cool KIDS’ SUMMER, Bluey’s Wild World, and more.
Some of these events even brought us some new food and drinks, including new Bluey-themed food and beverages, as well as a brand new Muppets-themed snack stand. Speaking of food, though, we’ve also been keeping up with Disney World restaurants this week, and we’ve got a few menu changes we need to tell you about.
Walt Disney World has over 25 on-property hotels, and not all of them are created equal. Some, like the Polynesian or Contemporary, are iconic, while others, like the Value Tier resorts, with their gigantic icons, have come to symbolize the resort. However, others remain a bit more…under the radar.
Take the Port Orleans Riverside Resort. This hotel — which opened under the name Dixie Landings back in 1992 — is “hidden” with its sister resort, Port Orleans French Quarter, at the edge of the property near Disney Springs.
One of our favorite Disney World snacks of all time is none other than the spring rolls you can find at the Spring Roll Cart in Magic Kingdom. If we had one complaint, though, it’s that you can’t get them anywhere else…at least, until now!
There’s now a NEW spot to get Cheeseburger Spring Rolls in Disney World, and it may be where you least expect it. You’ll want to head over to Disney’s Saratoga Springs Resort and stop by the pool — yes, now you can have some of your favorite spring rolls during your relaxing pool day!
Choosing a Disney World hotel can be confusing because there are SO many hotels to choose from with a variety of price points, amenities, and offerings. That can be even harder if you’re traveling with your family…you want a resort that everyone in the family can enjoy, regardless of age.
Well, Disney’s Port Orleans Resort — Riverside might just be exactly what you’re looking for because it’s great for families, but the Magnolia Bend section of the resort also recently got brand new rooms. And we’re going to give you a tour of one of those new rooms to show you what it looks like now.
When we say it’s been an eventful week in Disney World, we mean that we got close to lying down on a bench in the park and sleeping for approximately 14 hours, but we couldn’t, because in EVERY park, there was something new.
It was well worth it, though, in our opinion. Getting to be there for the opening day of Rock ‘n’ Roller Coaster Starring The Muppets, Bluey’s Wild World, as well as the official openings of Jessie’s Roundup, Soarin’ Across America, The Walt Disney Studios, and more? Yep, it was an unforgettable week. Now that things have slowed down a bit, though, if you’re visiting the parks this week, you need to know that there are, unfortunately, still many attractions around the parks that are closed and unavailable to experience.
