A major new themed expansion is coming to the United Kingdom… and we’re not talking about Universal!

The summer of 2026 will see the opening of Kynren: The Storied Lands. An expansion of the original Kynren attraction – which opened in 2016 – the will “use live-action shows to educate visitors about Britain’s history and myths.”
In case you forgot, Disney is building a theme park on Yas Island in Abu Dhabi. While Disney hasn’t shared many details, the Chief Executive Officer of Miral, the company working with Disney to build the park, has shared an update.

According to Mohamed Abdalla Al Zaabi’s LinkedIn post, the two companies recently met to discuss next steps.

We already covered the opening of Epic Universe in 2025, but we’re excitedly anticipating the new kid-focused theme park from Universal next. We’ve also been keeping an eye out for new theme parks announced by companies other than Disney and Universal, and in 2026, there’s a very interesting offering opening in Mexico!

Turns out, we were right to be skeptical of this $2 billion theme park, as the project turned from blue sky to boondoggle, ending in nothing but lawsuits.
It seems like the U.S. has gone theme park crazy, with new experiences and theme parks on the way. Universal just opened its horror experience, Universal Horror Unleashed, while the company is building a NEW theme park, Universal Kids Resort, in Frisco, Texas.

Well, ANOTHER new theme park will be coming to Las Vegas soon, and it’s sort of like Disney’s Pop Century Resort…but with rides. It’s called RestroEscapes, and it’s about to to take you back to the 1950s, 60s, 70s, 80s, and 90s.
We know there has been a lot of Universal Studios news lately, especially with the opening of Epic Universe, the new third park in Orlando, which has been happening recently.

Well, we recently took a drive to Frisco to check out the latest construction progress of this new theme park, and things are moving right along.
