We love Disney World and Disneyland, and a lot of the magic in those parks comes from Disney’s Imagineers. Now, some former Imagineers are working on a NEW project!

There’s just something special about Disney Parks. Even the international parks are magical. However, we have to admit that we are completely INTRIGUED about a new theme park being built in the Midwest, mostly because it’s being constructed by former Disney Imagineers. Universal is adding a new park, Epic Universe, to its Universal Orlando resort, while the company is also planning a new theme park experience for Texas. Well, ANOTHER new theme park is also on the way, and it’s being created by former Disney Imagineers.

Did you know that a NEW theme park is coming to Orlando?

Yep, Universal is currently working on Epic Universe, which will be the third theme park at Universal Orlando Resort. The project was supposed to open up next year, but due to the global pandemic, is now supposed to open in 2025. There hasn’t been a ton of info about what exactly is going on with construction on the new park, but we just found out a little more about what stage Universal is at in the building process.

We get the hype. Heck, we want it to be true! We can’t deny that an entirely BRAND NEW 5th Disney World theme park in Orlando would be pretty amazing. But, will it actually happen?
