Universal Orlando Resort may have a lot of projects going on inside its gates — demolition finally just began on The Lost Continent, the new Fast & Furious Hollywood Drift rollercoaster is currently being built, and an expansion could be in the works for Epic Universe — but that’s not all that’s happening in the Universal world.
Universal Kids Resort
Universal is also in the process of building an entire new theme park in Frisco, Texas, called Universal Kids Resort! The park is expected to open sometime in 2026, and as we’re getting close to halfway through the year, we’re relieved to see so much progress being made on the new resort — it gives us hope that it really WILL hit its opening timeline!
