Festival of Fantasy Parade
If you’re planning a visit to the Magic Kingdom soon, a part of the Festival of Fantasy parade might look a little different. Let’s talk about it!
When Disney World reopened after the pandemic-related closures, not every aspect of the parks returned at once.
Disney began a phased reopening based on health guidelines that extended to parks, hotels, dining, and even entertainment. That’s why we were SO excited when Disney’s Festival of Fantasy Parade made its debut once again last month in Magic Kingdom. We quickly noticed that not every character had returned with the parade, but now it looks like that has officially changed!
Surely in 28 short days, nothing wild, major, or important happened in Disney World, right? HA — of course not! As usual, Disney managed to cram a whole lotta news into one short month, and there’s a lot to discuss.

What’s new and exciting?
If you haven’t been keeping up lately, you might be surprised to learn that more character meet and greets are returning to the parks, a new cavalcade debuted this month, and the health and safety guidelines CHANGED once again! And that’s just in Disney World. Over in Disneyland, we got some exciting news on the entertainment front that has us seriously considering a trip to California; who’s in? As you can see, there’s a lot to catch up on, so let’s discuss seven new things we found out in February!
It’s been a LONG time since we’ve seen a daytime parade in Disney World. We’re not talking about those bite-size character cavalcades, here, we’re talking about a full-fledged, fantastical, good-old-fashioned Disney parade. It’s been too long! Now that Disney entertainment is coming back to the parks, we’re preparing for new and returning shows, parades, and more.

Festival of Fantasy is returning soon!
