Disney World is getting closer to pre-pandemic “normal” with traditional character meet-and-greets returning soon, all of the hotels now open, and most of the restaurants back up and running. Speaking of restaurants, we’re still missing one BIG dining location.
At Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort & Spa, you can find Victoria & Albert’s. This restaurant is the peak of luxury dining in Disney World, but it hasn’t returned since the 2020 closure. We do know that it will reopen sometime this year, and now we have a BIG hint that its return could be right around the corner!
Disney announced that Victoria & Albert’s will be reopening in 2022, but they didn’t give an exact date for its return.
Now, we’ve spotted a new job posting on the Disney Careers website advertising for a Guest Experience Manager of Food & Beverage for Victoria & Alberts! The job was posted on March 23rd, 2022.
We’re hoping that the job posting means Victoria & Alberts is going to reopen sooner rather than later. The advertisement says Disney is looking for someone to “oversee the team to achieve extraordinary service and create a luxury experience for guests from all over the world.”
Some of the qualifications required for the position include 4+ years of leadership experience in a fine dining restaurant, knowledge of AAA & Forbes 4 and 5 Diamond standards, advanced knowledge of wine and spirits, and a commitment to promoting an inclusive work environment.
We’re excited about this sign that Victoria & Alberts could reopen soon! We’ll let you know as soon as we hear any more news about its return in Disney World. In the meantime, stay tuned with DFB for all of the latest news that could impact your Disney vacation.

I’m really hoping it’s open in time for my honeymoon in October!! 🤞🤞🤞
Yes! Can’t wait!
Now, if I could just get park reservations…
We have eaten and V&A’s quite a few times over the years. Never made it to the Chef’s table but love the wine pairings. We have So missed being able to dine there. But we need advance notice so we can pack proper clothes. We will be there first chance we get.
This is great!
You can once again spend more than $500 for dinner for two whereas you can get a better meal for half the price elsewhere!
This place has its place, but not in my universe. A total rip-off.
