There’s Disney World during regular times of the year — and then there’s Disney World during spooky season.
If you’ve never been to the parks and hotels during Halloween, there’s something especially enchanting about it. Pumpkins, ghosts, bats, characters in costumes, special parties, and more are everywhere you look — and Disney makes it a point to get the party started early. So early, in fact, that the first Halloween decorations have already arrived in Magic Kingdom!
There are a lot of places you’ll WANT to be during your Disney World vacation.
You’ll want to be on time for your dining reservations and Genie+ Lightning Lanes. You’ll probably want to be in front of Cinderella Castle at night for that perfect fireworks view. And of course, at some point, you’ll want to brave the gift shops to get that must-have souvenir. But there are also plenty of places you DON’T want to be in Disney World…and we’re sharing the details!

Even Disney experts have a few pet peeves when it comes to the parks and resorts! The truth is, there are some unavoidable annoyances that we all encounter in Disney World — there’s just no escaping things like paying to skip the line these days. That said, we can help you navigate three common problems that pretty much everyone hates. Let’s break it down!
Disney World will surprise you in a variety of ways.
Sometimes it’s a rare character coming out to say hello to visitors. Sometimes it’s shorter ride lines than you expected. Sometimes it’s something you didn’t expect to happen, like bad weather and ride closures. However, we just recently came across a restaurant issue you might want to be aware of — let’s take a look.
The ONLY thing we’ve been thinking about this week is food. Okay, well, that’s every week, but even MORE so this week because the EPCOT Food and Wine Festival has officially kicked off.
So while we were eating our way around the world, eating ALL the cheese, and buying new festival merchandise, we were also keeping an eye on Disney World restaurant menus for changes. So let’s look at how those restaurants have changed recently.
Are we ready for a new attraction in Disney World or what?
Okay, so we’ve already had a few new attractions open in the past few years. Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind at EPCOT keeps blowing our minds. TRON Lightcycle / Run in Magic Kingdom has taken us into the grid and back again. We can’t wait to experience Journey of Water — Inspired by Moana at EPCOT. But we might be most excited about the work being done on the former Splash Mountain to create Tiana’s Bayou Adventure. So let’s see how “Almost There” the attraction is.
