To start off your vacation, you have to start by getting to the Disney World resort! For me, that typically starts at the Orlando International Airport before hopping on a Mears Connect Bus to head to my resort. I’ve never had many issues with this…until it took me 3 hours to get to my Disney World hotel. I’m sharing everything that went wrong right here!

It feels like Disney World is a never-ending construction site right now!

Wilderness Lodge in Disney World

The parks are undergoing some major renovations, including the addition of a new Cars land called Piston Peak, a Villains Land, and a Monsters Inc. Land! While these changes are pretty exciting, it does mean that the resort is in a bit of an “in-between” period. Not even the hotels are going unscathed! Over at Disney’s Wilderness Lodge, a temporary closure has officially begun.

3 Things I Wish I’d Known Before Waiting 3 Hours for Airport Transportation to Disney World

Airport transportation to Disney World can be a… touchy subject for many fans. There was a time when travel between Orlando International Airport (MCO) and Disney World was built around the Magical Express. This service, included in Walt Disney World vacation packages, ferried guests back and forth from MCO while transporting their bags directly from their flight to their hotel room and vice versa. The popular service was discontinued in 2020, creating a vacuum for many guests, who have resorted to other methods.

A Budget Airline Is Cutting Flights to 10 Cities

Many airlines have continued to struggle, even now, almost six years after the pandemic. Spirit Airlines has been busy cutting flights from cities, and American Airlines has announced it would stop service at several cities. Well, budget airline Frontier Airlines is now following suit.

TheDisney Skyliner is a FREE gondola system at Disney World that been an integral part of the way Disney guests get around the resort since it opened in 2019. Though it isn’t perfect, fans have really loved how this sky-based transportation connects four Disney incredibly popular hotels to both Disney’s Hollywood Studios and EPCOT in a convenient fashion.
