We’ll admit that we were really excited to learn that the Garden View Tea Room at Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort & Spa would finally be reopening this year after being closed since 2020 (we were starting to wonder if it would ever reopen).

We recently even got a reopening date (yes, it’s REALLY happening): March 19th. Disney even gave us a sneak peek at the restaurant, along with a look at the new Alice in Wonderland-inspired menu. Now, Disney has revealed the pricing for afternoon tea at Garden View Tea Room after it reopens.

FULL MENU REVEALED For Disney World’s Newest Restaurant

We are only slightly freaking out over here (okay, we are actually freaking out a lot!), but the tea room is officially reopening at Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort & Spa! While we already knew it was reopening in early 2026, Disney just announced an OFFICIAL reopening date, so it is becoming more real, and we are SO excited.

It’s finally happening — one of Disney World’s most beloved tea experiences is coming back.

After being closed for years, the Garden View Lounge at Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort is FINALLY reopening with an all-new tea experience, and Disney has shared our first real look at what’s coming! Now that most of the hotel’s lobby transformation is complet,e including the addition of a swanky bar, this latest chapter will be the final piece we’ve been eagerly waiting on while it undergoes its full transformation. From whimsical menu items to elegant updates to the space, here’s everything we know so far.

DATE ANNOUNCED for the Opening of the Grand Floridian Tea Room at Disney World

The Garden View Lounge at Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort has been closed since the COVID-19 pandemic-related shutdown of Disney World, but back in November 2025, Disney announced that it would be reopening!

They didn’t share an official date — just that it would be happening sometime in “spring 2026.” But now, we officially know that the Garden View Lounge is reopening on March 19th!
