If you’re looking for that perfect spot for afternoon tea, look no further than the Garden View Lounge at Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort & Spa.
The Garden View Lounge reopened on March 19th, 2026 (after having been closed since 2020), and the spot debuted new touches from the Walt Disney Animation Studios film Alice in Wonderland.

Optional enhancements include a Seasonal Cheese Selection or Royal Osetra Caviar with Mini Chive Biscuits and Traditional Accompaniments.
Children ages 3 to 9 may partake in the Children’s Afternoon Tea.

Nosh or Not
You have to head to the Tea Room if you…
- You’re looking for a unique dining experience — While you might not be adding this to every Disney World vacation, it’s a great way to do something different during your visit. It can also be great for special occasions and celebrations since it’s on the expensive side, but so much fun.
You might want to skip if…
- You don’t love tea and are not looking for a fancy experience — While the desserts are super adorable, if you’re not into tea, you might not enjoy the overall experience. It’s also a fancier experience, and if you’re looking to keep it casual, you might want to head the other way.
Important Information:
- Advance Dining Reservations are in demand and highly recommended;
- The Garden View Lounge Tea Experience does NOT accept the Disney Dining Plan;
- A dress code is enforced at the Garden View Lounge. According to the experience’s page on Disney World’s website, since the tea room offers “fine dining with a distinctly magical flair”, guests are “expected to dress accordingly in attire that respects the restaurant’s sophisticated and upscale aesthetic.”
- The Disney World website states: “There is a 24-hour cancellation policy. Full price will be charged/forfeited if the Guest cancels within one day or fails to show up for the reservation.”
How to Book
Advance Dining Reservations are open for dates 60 days out. Interested guests can make an Advance Dining Reservation via the Disney World website, the My Disney Experience app, or by calling (407) WDW-DINE.
