Multiple NEW Disney Pixar Movies in the Works, Including a Third ‘Monsters, Inc.’

If you’re like us, you likely remember the golden days of Pixar. Whether you got to head to the theater to see hits like Toy Story, Monsters, Inc., or WALL-E in person, or you watched them on DVD at home (or love to watch them on streaming now), these stories are a large part of many of our childhoods.

While Pixar has continued to make some great films, they’ve had some ups and downs over the past few years. Now, we have a bit more insight as to why that may be. We also got confirmation that there are LOTS of new Pixar films in the works, including a third installment in the Monsters, Inc. franchise!

What is Going ON With These Two Magic Kingdom Spots?!

We’ve got some pretty big news out of Magic Kingdom, where construction is practically everywhere as the park prepares to welcome two new lands.

Westward Ho

One of those lands is Piston Peak, which is taking the place of where Tom Sawyer Island and the Liberty Square Riverboat used to be, but it’s looking more and more like other areas of Frontierland will be extinct along with the change. We recently checked the My Disney Experience App and noticed that while two Frontierland spots are still showing hours, their physical buildings on the map are GONE!

Universal Quietly Dropped a BIG Update on Its New Texas Theme Park

We’ve got a BIG update out of Frisco, Texas, where Universal’s newest park is in progress, and on track to open later this year!

Universal Kids Resort is preparing to open to guests this summer (though no official opening date has been announced just yet), and while this park is geared towards kids and their families, we can’t wait to check out the seven themed lands this park will have to explore. Now, there’s a big update to share that confirms the park should be opening later this year — casting has now opened for the park!

Limited Time menu at The Basket at Wine Bar George!

Wine Bar George is one of our absolute favorite restaurants out there, but sometimes you don’t have time to snag a reservation, or they’re all filled up. In either case, you can stop by The Basket at Wine Bar George, which is the quick service section of this restaurant. You won’t get access to the full menu, but there are some pretty great options to try. That’s especially true now that there’s a NEW limited-time Greek menu — it totally blew our minds!

We checked out Disneyland After Dark: 70 Years of Favorites, a special new after-hours event that we’ve been looking forward to for weeks. There’s SO much to experience at this event, like meet and greets with ultra rare characters, check out special merchandise, and, of course, snack on some exclusive offerings. Is the food really worth spending time on, though, when the event is already so rare? Don’t worry, we tried out a few of the options, so you know what to expect!

Every NEW Souvenir that Just Dropped at EPCOT and Online for the Flower and Garden Festival

It’s finally here! Today is the first day of EPCOT’s Flower and Garden Festival, and we’re excited to be in the park to try all the new menu items, explore the many beautiful gardens and topiaries, and, of course, check out the new merchandise available.
