SNEAK PEEK at Universal’s NEW Texas Theme Park Opening This Year

Universal is opening a new theme park this year! Universal Kids Resort is located in Frisco, a suburb north of Dallas, Texas. It’s aimed at families with young children, but it looks fun for all ages!

Universal Kids Resort will have seven lands themed after Shrek, SpongeBob, Minions, Trolls, and Jurassic World. We just got an awesome sneak peek of them!

The new land we’re most excited about is SpongeBob themed! Get ready to have the best day ever. We’re so excited to meet SpongeBob, Patrick, Sandy, and other Bikini Bottom characters!

There will also be a few brand-new SpongeBob-themed rides. Hop on Jellyfish Fields Jamboree, where you’ll ride your own jelly angler and go jellyfishing with SpongeBob!

You can also visit Mrs. Puff’s Boating School, where you swerve, spin, and even go backwards on her driving course. Another ride is Bobbing Barrels, a spinning ride that blasts you with water cannons!

There’s also Barnacle Bus. It’s a tugboat ride that rocks and spins, themed after the Barnacle Bus that SpongeBob gets lost on in season one.

You can cool off in Pineapple Paradise, a splash pad featuring SpongeBob’s pineapple house!

Bikini Bottom will also have Goofy Goober’s restaurant that serves the iconic Goofy Goober Sundaes from the show! We don’t have too many details on the food offerings at Universal Kids Resort, so this is an exciting sneak peek for the foodies.
