Disney recently announced the timeline for Cinderella Castle in Magic Kingdom getting repainted to its original gray and blue colors, and we’re sharing our favorite comments from our Instagram page (which you should totally follow by the way).

One of the best parts about Disney Parks is probably the food (and no, we’re not biased here at Disney Food Blog), and while someone from our team is in Disney World every day, it doesn’t mean each of us individually is in Disney World every day. To help combat the Disney blues, we love to make some of our favorite snacks at home, and with these cookie recipes, you’ll forget you’re not at Disney.
I’m not trying to be dramatic, but when Disney announced an Encanto-themed ride was coming to Animal Kingdom, I cried. The movie means everything to me, and to enter their magical world and go inside Castia feels like a dream come true.

Disney Imagineers are teaming up with new tech companies to usher in a new wave of Imagineering — and that includes 3D printing.
Jungle Cruise
According to CNET, a 3D printing business in Florida, Haddy, has partnered with Imagineering to install its first 3D-printed boat in a Disney park, on the Jungle Cruise. While it won’t be the boats people actually ride on, it will be a prop canoe located on the banks of the river — and, yes, it can actually float.

If you are planning a Disney World vacation in 2026, there is a change coming to Disney Moderate Hotels that you need to know about! The change was announced back in April 2025 and officially takes effect in 2026. We don’t want you to forget about the change as you start planning your vacation.
Disney’s Coronado Springs
While the change isn’t trip-altering, Disney will be changing how it categorizes rooms at Moderate Hotels. So you won’t need to change all your plans, but we also didn’t want you to be confused if you are used to making a specific room reservation for your trip.
Drinking around the world at EPCOT could look a little different if new Florida legislation passes.
Paper straws at Disney World
According to WKMG News 6, legislation was filed on December 18th that would “set guidelines for local government rules involving the materials used for drinking straws and stirrers.” As of now, the types of drinking straws and stirrers businesses provide are largely left up to local municipalities or the businesses themselves, but this new bill seeks to change that.
