It’s a FANTASTIC day in Disney World because we just spotted one of our favorite Muppets in a place we don’t normally find him.
When we think of the Fourth of July and Disney, our brains immediately go to Sam Eagle from The Muppets. More specifically, his “glorious, three-hour finale” he had planned for Muppet*Vision 3D, and his overall patriotic nature. It’s only natural, then, to have him be a big part of the holiday in Disney World, and this is the year we FINALLY get it in the form of a truly adorable popcorn bucket!
The Sam Eagle Popcorn Bucket is now available around the resort, but we grabbed ours at the popcorn stand close to Cinderella Castle. He’ll cost you $22 and comes with popcorn separately, but you can fill the bucket then as you’d like (or keep it empty so you don’t have to clean it later).
He looks like he’s standing at a podium, complete with an iconic red, white, and blue top hat that also serves as where the shoulder strap is. It’s not the biggest popcorn bucket we’ve seen, by far, but also not the smallest, so it’s right in the middle. That means it won’t be too bulky to carry around all day, or could easily fit into a locker if you wanted to just grab it at the end of your park day.
We’re also actually glad the popcorn comes separately, because there’s not that much space for the snack inside the bucket, so we could see where some people would feel like they’ve been ripped off a bit. We can’t wait to put this on our shelf at home and look at it every day, because let’s be real, it really IS iconic!
