Heads up to those of you heading to Universal Orlando’s Epic Universe soon, there’s a change coming you need to know about!
Early Entry is a great perk for those staying at a Universal Orlando hotel, or Premier Annual Passholders (Preferred Annual Passholders get Early Entry only on certain days and not at Epic Universe at this time), because it allows you to get into the park early to ride some of your favorite attractions with lower waits. In Epic Universe, you can get into the park a whole HOUR early, at 9 AM, but this is your heads up that starting in February, the rides that will be open during this extra hour will CHANGE!
Currently, from today through January 31st, the following rides are available during Early Entry:
- Mario Kart: Bowser’s Challenge
- Yoshi’s Adventure
- Stardust Racers
- Constellation Carousel
- Monsters Unchained: The Frankenstein Experiment
- Curse of the Werewolf
However, from February 1st to 28th, 2026, the rides that will be available will change pretty drastically. The change is still so new that Universal doesn’t have exact rides listed yet, but we know that select participating attractions in the following lands will be available:
- The Wizarding World of Harry Potter – Ministry of Magic
- SUPER NINTENDO WORLD
- How to Train Your Dragon – Isle of Berk
This means that Stardust Racers and Constellation Carousel, both located in Celestial Park, will no longer be open, and Dark Universe’s attractions as a whole also won’t be available. While it does mean we could get more of the Nintendo rides on the list, Battle at the Ministry AND certain attractions in Isle of Berk opening early is a HUGE deal. We feel it’s a pretty good trade-off, especially since we’ve found that Celestial Park attractions are even better at night (and personally, I think Dark Universe’s are too, but that may just be me!).
