A DFB Favorite Snack Is GONE From Disney World

We’ve done nothing but think about food and drinks all week. That’s because the EPCOT Food & Wine Festival has officially kicked off, AND The Beak and Barrel in Magic Kingdom has officially opened.

So yeah, we’ve got food and drinks on the brain (but, really, when do we NOT have food and drinks in mind?). Well, while we’re thinking about it, we’re going through all the Disney World restaurant menu changes we spotted this week. Now, we’ll warn you, we’re a little sad that this round of updates saw one of our favorite snacks disappearing: the Peanut Butter Whoopie Pie in EPCOT.

Disney World Just Dropped DOZENS of Menu Changes

It’s the second week of August, and we have been busy eating and drinking our way around Disney World this week.

That’s because the Disney Adults Crawl is officially ON (you can learn more about that here) AND Disney has already dropped MORE snacks for World Princess Week, including snacks themed around Moana, Tiana, Pocahontas, and more. Disney World restaurants have also been busying changing up their menus, so let’s see what changed this week.

Well, we survived the 4th of July in Disney World and even got to eat a few patriotic treats in the process.

Well, it has CERTAINLY been a big week for Disney World news, right?

We finally got LOADS of new details about the Cars expansion coming to Frontierland, including that it will be called Piston Peak, and that it will introduce some new characters into the Cars universe (now if only Disney would drop some hints about what kind of FOOD this expansion will have — we have questions!). Anyway, speaking of food, we’ve been monitoring menu changes at Disney World restaurants all week, so let’s take a look at what’s been updated.

Wow…what a week in Disney World. We just got the news that the seasonal foodie celebration, Flavors of Florida, will start soon, and we’re readying our tastebuds for that.

Not only did Gideon’s Bakehouse announce a new menu, BUT we got eight new food and drinks at Disney’s Pop Century Resort (and yes, be looking for those reviews coming soon). An Unexpected Hotel Is Suddenly Serving DOLE Whip in Disney World

Okay, some Disney snacks are just CLASSICS and you have to get them every single trip. We’re talking about those salty Mickey Pretzels (yes, with plastic CHHHHEEEESEEE) and Corn Dug Nuggets (aka Mini Corn Dogs) from Casey’s Corner in Magic Kingdom.

However, the most ICONIC classic Disney World snack just might be the Pineapple DOLE Whip. Now, you can pick up DOLE Whip in several spots throughout Disney World, but now you can get DOLE Whip at an unexpected spot: at Disney’s All-Star Movies Resort. Yep, DOLE Whip is officially available at Disney’s All-Star Resorts!

Um…A TON of Disney World Restaurants Just Quietly Changed Their Menus

Hello from (sometimes) sunny Florida! We’ve been at Disney World all week just checking up on things and eating all the food (so normal week for us).

Cheers!

That includes a new treat from The Cake Bake Shop, getting ready to eat ALL the Easter snacks that will be hitting Disney World soon, revisiting one of our favorite restaurants in Disney’s Hollywood Studios, and trying three Disney Springs restaurants AT ONCE (because that’s how we roll). We also kept an eye on Disney World restaurant menus this week, and we’ve got some changes to report.
