Magic Kingdom is a hotbed of activity right now — let’s just say, there’s a lot going on. For starters, Big Thunder Mountain Railroad just recently reopened with a ton of new changes, as did Buzz Lightyear’s Space Ranger Spin.

Meanwhile, an entire new Villains land is being built behind Big Thunder Mountain Railroad, while Frontierland is getting a Cars expansion. Well, now, a Magic Kingdom restaurant has closed to make way for something new. Yep, Diamond Horseshoe has officially closed.

You may be tired of hearing the words “major changes,” “closures,” and “Disney World” all in the same sentence, but we’re here, yet again, to warn you that in just ONE week, a massive change is going to take place in Magic Kingdom that you need to know about!

Disney World’s Cool KIDS’ SUMMER event is set to begin on May 26th and run through September 8th, and as part of the event, numerous additions are coming to the four theme parks. Over in Magic Kingdom, there’s one restaurant that’s about to close to make room for a summer experience, which means this will be your last week to dine here for quite some time!

NEWS: Major Changes Hit This Magic Kingdom Restaurant on May 16th

There are some pretty unique dining options in Magic Kingdom. You can dine with Pooh Bear and his friends at the Crystal Palace and eat with princesses inside Cinderella Castle at Cinderella’s Royal Table, which is kinda the coolest thing ever.

“Why, Oh Why?!” Fans Have Questions About Disney World’s Newest Restaurant Announcement

Cool Kids’ Summer is making its return to Disney World in 2026! Earlier this week, Disney made a bunch of announcements about what to expect at Disney World this summer. As part of Cool Kids’ Summer, visitors can enjoy fun seasonal experiences, including Bluey & Bingo at Conservation Station, GoofyCore at CommuniCore Hall, Disney Jr. Mickey Mouse Clubhouse Live!, and Toy Story Pals at the Diamond Horseshoe.

One announcement in particular got quite a strong response from our readers: Toy Story Pals at The Diamond Horseshoe. Disney announced that Jessie, Woody, and friends will be headed to The Diamond Horseshoe in Magic Kingdom for some “energetic fun.” Jessie’s Roundup will be led by Jessie herself. You will be able to craft, dance, and yodel your heart out in this new western revue.
