Disney’s Coronado Springs
We’ll often recommend that you save time during your Disney World trip to dine outside the parks, especially if you’re staying at one of the Moderate or Deluxe Disney World Resorts. One of our favorite hotel spots is Toledo at Disney’s Coronado Springs Resort — but does it stand the test of time? We recently went back to try it again.
There are a LOT of restaurants in Disney World, some of which are located in spots you’ll have to take a trek to get to — but which ones are worth it?
Gran Destino Tower
With dozens of restaurants located at Disney World’s hotels, you may also be missing out on some hidden gems without even realizing it! We’ve already shared our list of the best restaurants in Disney World for 2023 and the best value fast food restaurants for 2023. But today we’re taking a trip to one tucked-away spot to see if it’s something you’ve got to add to your must-try list!
While you can often find us chowing down on Mickey Pretzels and Dole Whip in the parks, some of our favorite Disney World dining locations are actually found outside of the parks!
Coronado Springs Resort
The Disney World Resort hotels are home to some iconic restaurants. Of course, there are the quintessential spots like ‘Ohana at Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort and California Grill at Disney’s Contemporary Resort. But, there’s one Disney World hotel that we bet you don’t typically think of when it comes to dining…but you totally should!
Earlier today, we found out that four more Disney World restaurants are reopening soon!
Yachtsman Steakhouse
Columbia Harbour House, Pizzafari, Toledo, and Yachtsman Steakhouse are all reopening the first week of August and we’re excited to visit them once again and share our thoughts. And now, we know what the menus are going to look like at two of those spots!
Toledo — Tapas, Steak, & Seafood is Gran Destino Tower’s rooftop restaurant.

An all-new rooftop dining experience is coming to Walt Disney World this summer when Toledo — Tapas, Steak & Seafood opens on top of the new Gran Destino Tower at Disney’s Coronado Springs Resort on July 9, 2019.
Gran Destino Tower Will Open in July
Disney has announced an exclusive tasting event for the new restaurant for Disney World Annual Passholders and Disney Vacation Club Members. The event will be held on Thursday, July 25; Thursday, August 1 and Thursday, August 8, 2019 and will feature highlights from the menu selected by the chef, and accompanied by cocktails. [Read more…]

As of today, guests are able to reserve rooms for check-in dates starting July 9, 2019 for the Gran Destino Tower coming to Disney World’s Coronado Springs Resort.

One of the features we’ve been most excited about since the new tower was announced is its rooftop dining location. And now the name for this restaurant, which will offer amazing views of Walt Disney World, including fireworks viewing, has officially been revealed!
