Disney World dining is already pretty incredible, but there’s a whole tier of restaurants that take things to a completely different level, literally.
Rooftop dining at Disney World gives you stunning views, elevated menus, and an atmosphere you simply can’t get anywhere else on property. Whether you’re celebrating something big or just want to treat yourself to a night you won’t forget, these four spots deliver in a major way. Here’s a look at the rooftop restaurants hiding inside Disney World hotels that absolutely deserve a spot on your dining radar.
California Grill (Disney’s Contemporary Resort)
If there’s one dining experience at Disney World that earns the label “bucket list,” it’s California Grill.
Perched on the top floor of the iconic Contemporary Resort, this signature restaurant checks every box: a gorgeous sunset view, a delicious menu, and an exclusive fireworks viewing experience during Magic Kingdom’s nightly show. You’ll take a private elevator up to the restaurant, and from the moment you step off, the whole vibe feels elevated and special.
This one does come with a hefty price tag, so it’s best saved for a celebration or a night when you really want to splurge. That said, the food is consistently excellent and hard to critique. And here’s a pro tip: if you’d rather skip the full dinner bill, the fourth-floor observation deck of the Contemporary offers a fireworks view for free. Just get there early because it fills up fast.

Topolino’s Terrace (Disney’s Riviera Resort)
Topolino’s Terrace at Disney’s Riviera Resort is one of those restaurants that feels like it was designed specifically for a date night.
The rooftop setting overlooks EPCOT, which means you’re also in one of the best spots on property to catch the park’s nightly fireworks from your table. The menu leans into elegant French-Italian Riviera-inspired dishes, so if you’re a picky eater or traveling with little ones, it’s worth noting that the food is a step outside the standard Disney fare.
That said, for those who want an upscale, romantic dining experience with a killer view, this is genuinely one of the finest options at Disney World. The atmosphere alone makes it worth it, and the meal consistently delivers on the promise.

Toledo: Tapas, Steak and Seafood (Disney’s Coronado Springs Resort)
Toledo sits atop the Gran Destino Tower at Coronado Springs, and it might just be the most underrated rooftop restaurant at Disney World.
The Spanish-inspired menu is unlike anything else you’ll find on property, and the view from up here is genuinely jaw-dropping. You can see across a massive stretch of Disney World from the windows inside, and stepping out to the adjacent Dahlia Lounge balcony makes it even more spectacular.
Keep in mind that Toledo is only open for dinner five nights a week, so you’ll want to check the schedule before making plans. It’s a great pick for guests who want to wind down the day with something a little more adventurous and relaxed, though picky eaters may find the menu a stretch.

Dahlia Lounge (Disney’s Coronado Springs Resort)
Right next door to Toledo, Dahlia Lounge is a rooftop bar experience worth seeking out even if a full sit-down dinner isn’t on the agenda.
This spot is inspired by Spanish surrealism, and the design makes that very clear: think gorgeous murals, golden accents, metalwork detailing, and a warm, moody atmosphere that instantly feels like a world away from the parks.
The menu features small plates and signature cocktails, with standout items like the Dahlia Sliders, Shrimp Pil Pil, and Churros. The outdoor balcony seating offers sweeping views of Disney World property, and you might even spot EPCOT fireworks in the distance. It opens at 5PM and runs until midnight, making it a perfect nightcap stop after a long day.

The California Grill lost it for us when they went prix fixe. We used to love sitting at the sushi counter when Yoshi Cabral was the head sushi chef. She’d make whatever she felt like making and then would tell the server what to put on the bill. Now they’re down to 2-3 sushi choices and that’s only if you are able to get seats at the bar. They ruined it for us.
