Well, it’s officially the end of an era at Magic Kingdom. Tom Sawyer Island and the Liberty Square Riverboat are both now closed to park visitors.

It’s been a long journey, but it seems like Disney has been quick to update the My Disney Experience app and beyond — because new maps have popped up in the park and on the app overnight.
We recently posted about some updates to Disney World’s dining reservation system; however, it appears that some of these updates have now been rolled back!
Cinderella’s Royal Table
We initially spotted some changes in early June, and just yesterday we noticed the changes had been rolled out to everyone and even more new changes made their debut. However, some of the changes are no longer available!
Disney has been updating their dining reservation system, and we are HERE for it!
Cinderella’s Royal Table is one of the hardest reservations to grab!
They previously made updates to allow for more filters when searching for dining reservations, like wider areas, cuisine type, and character dining. They’re even letting you view multiple restaurants at a time for reservation times, and now it’s even easier to find a dining reservation.

My Disney Experience is the ultimate planning tool for Disney World. On the app, you’ll find posted wait times, a map, the skip-the-line Lightning Lane system, mobile order for dining, and more! You’ll also find all your tickets, passes, and photos on the app. So yeah, it’s THE Disney World tool!

Few things are more important than knowing how to navigate My Disney Experience — the official Disney World app. On top of maintaining your park tickets, mobile orders, Lightning Lane selections, and all of your reservations, this app serves as a central hub for everything Disney World, all on your phone. There’s seriously so much to do on this app that people may be neglecting some obvious features.
Disney World’s Lightning Lane system certainly isn’t perfect.

In fact, many people complain about the system for one reason or another, whether it be price, ease of use, or the booking process. Sadly, Disney World is likely not going to let us have Lightning Lanes for free again (ah, the days of FastPass+), so if we had to pick one change for them to make to the system, we’d probably want an update to the availability.

We’re always doing our best to bring you the latest Disney tips and tricks, and some of those include some shortcuts that Disney may noooot want you to know. We don’t encourage breaking rules, but if you haven’t wanted to pay for your PhotoPass photos, you have been able to screenshot them in the app, as long as you don’t mind the logo across the photo. However, we’re sorry to say that this has now CHANGED!
