My Disney Experience is the ultimate planning tool for Disney World. On the app, you’ll find posted wait times, a map, the skip-the-line Lightning Lane system, mobile order for dining, and more! You’ll also find all your tickets, passes, and photos on the app. So yeah, it’s THE Disney World tool!
What we like about the My Disney Experience app is how much you can personalize your profile — and of course, that means choosing a Disney character to be your avatar. Disney has a wide range of characters you can select to represent your MyDisney profile. You might find your favorite character!
Who else LOVES ‘Beauty and the Beast’?
Let’s be honest about two things. First, we love finding a Disney character that represents us so well. How many times have you looked at a character and been like, “Yep, that’s literally me!“? Second, choosing your Disney character profile avatar is VERY important — it just is! How else can we learn about who you are? Oh, you chose Stitch as your character avatar? We immediately know you’re a FUN person to be around.

The only problem is, Disney can’t have EVERY character on the app — there are just too many. If you couldn’t find the Disney icon you wanted to represent you before, fear not, because Disney just dropped a whole bunch of NEW character avatars. We’re talking iconic characters, classic friends, and some evil villains! Take a look at the seventeen new Disney avatars you can select:

Now this is a great list of Disney icons! We’re already having trouble choosing our new avatar. You can’t help but ask yourself, how did some of these characters not make it on here before? Doesn’t matter, there here now! Anyone here instantly changing to this Winnie the Pooh icon? Hades? Ursula? We know those EPCOT lovers already have Figment as their new avatar!

The new characters are joining a TON of other classic Disney characters. You may already have made your decision long ago, and maybe you won’t be changing to anyone new. Disney princesses like Ariel, Belle, and Anna are great choices if you love Disney royalty.

Not interested. Don’t care. I vacay to escape not to be so glued to a smartphone that I’m beyond stressed and walking around bumping into people or blocking walkways, missing all the ambience and fun details! Disney ruined wdw when they forced us to rely on technology which….by its own admission per this story….spies on us like Big Brother! If you tolerate this, you deserve what happens to you. And choosing a character by no means defines us or tells anyone anything about us!!!!! I refuse to bring a smartphone…or play lightning lane games or pay their ridiculously high prices…..so I miss out on riding and eating to the point we never go to the parks anymore…and I can’t believe so many give up their enjoyment to still go! But it’s also becoming quite noticeable that you feign thrills over the most mundane things Disney now markets us to get excited about and you then jump and down trying to get us excited. It’s pathetic and you’ve badly strayed from your original mission. You can’t possibly think every little thing you post about is important or worth knowing about!!!
To answer your last question, Easy. I’ve been waiting for stitch for years to come on.
I was having the day from h e double hockey sticks when they first did this – on the phone for hours arguing with various insurance companies trying to get one of my husband’s life saving meds covered. I was scrolling Twitter and saw that this had happened. I immediately changed my to my favorite character – the Evil Queen! Which considering some of the thoughts I was having about the customer “service” agents I was dealing with seemed very, very appropriate 🙄. It gave me an (evil) smile on a very challenging day.

I would really like an option in the app to share a mobile food order so everyone on their phone could choose their items on one single order. Uber eats does that as a reference. Food for thoughts ;p
I kind of wish that there was Vanellope too, but then I’d have to chose between Vanellope and Stitch 😁
