Exciting news out of Disney to start your day off on a super fun note — we just got a look at one of the newly refreshed scenes coming to Buzz Lightyear’s Space Ranger Spin!

This attraction closed for a lengthy refurbishment back in August 2025 and is set to open in the spring of 2026. The refurbishment adds lots of refreshed elements to the ride, such as the ride vehicles and new cordless blasters, but we just got a look at what one of the final scenes of the ride will look like after its refurb!

FIRST LOOK at the CHANGES to Buzz Lightyear’s Space Ranger Spin in Disney World

We are eagerly awaiting our chance to battle Emperor Zurg once again and attempt to become a Galactic Hero in Buzz Lightyear’s Space Ranger Spin in Magic Kingdom. The point-and-shoot attraction is currently undergoing refurbishment, and it is expected to reopen in spring 2026.

There will be new ride vehicles, new targets, new blasters, and a new character! Walt Disney Imagineering recently shared a new look at the ride’s latest character, Buddy, and we are getting even more excited for the reopening.
