Some big changes have hit Animal Kingdom recently, largely thanks to Bluey!

Bluey’s Wild World opened up at Conservation Station near the end of May, and it has been popular ever since. When it first opened, the experience required a virtual queue, but now there’s a standby line to see the Bluey show. However, that’s not the only offering out there — Jumping Junction is where you can meet some creatures native to Australia and it’s testing a big upgrade.

We’re talking about brand-new lands, reimagined classics, and entirely fresh rides opening at Disney parks across the globe, from Orlando to Paris to Tokyo. This isn’t the usual trickle of refurbishments and soft updates. This is a genuine, park-by-park wave of new attractions, and if you’re the type of person who plans Disney trips around openings, now is the time to start paying very close attention.

One of the most interesting parks to visit is Tokyo DisneySea, which has some incredibly creative and original attractions and lands. One of those rides is located in Port Discovery, and we just learned that it will be closing permanently.
It’s no exaggeration to say there is a LOT going on in Disney at the moment. In Orlando alone, it feels like every month is bringing some major change.

Rock ‘n Roller Coaster Starring The Muppets
Rock ‘n’ Roller Coaster Starring Aerosmith closed earlier this year to make way for the new Rock ‘n’ Roller Coaster Starring The Muppets. This version of the ride is going to feature some fan-favorite characters and a bangin’ soundtrack, but now we know we may get to ride it EARLY!

EPCOT
With the new Walt Disney Studios land and Rock ‘n’ Roller Coaster starring The Muppets coming to Hollywood Studios, Bluey experiences arriving at Animal Kingdom, and newly updated Buzz Lightyear’s Space Ranger Spin and Big Thunder Mountain Railroad at Magic Kingdom, there’s a lot to experience if you’re traveling this year. But we can’t forget about the major ride change coming to EPCOT!
In the 70+ years since Disneyland opened, Disney has built some truly iconic theme park attractions. Rides like Pirates of the Caribbean, The Haunted Mansion, and “it’s a small world” have become culturally ubiquitous. However, there’s perhaps no more pop-culturally iconic Disney attraction than Space Mountain.

Everything from the coaster’s exterior to its theme is known well beyond the bubble of Disney’s fans, particularly because the ride maintains an air of mystery since it takes place entirely in the dark. However, we’re here to shed some light on this 50+ year-old favorite.
If you’re coming to Disney World with little kids, you’ll probably be looking for any chance you can get to have them burn off a little energy.

You spend a lot of time waiting in lines, sitting at restaurants, and staying still while watching shows, so it makes sense that the kids will want a chance to run around. Thankfully, there are several locations around Disney World property where you’ll find playgrounds, including the newly renovated one in EPCOT!

This attraction closed for a lengthy refurbishment back in August 2025 and is set to open in the spring of 2026. The refurbishment adds lots of refreshed elements to the ride, such as the ride vehicles and new cordless blasters, but we just got a look at what one of the final scenes of the ride will look like after its refurb!
