Halloween Horror Nights is returning to Universal Orlando this year from August 28th through November 1st. And this year, the event is celebrating its 35th anniversary.
This year’s event will have ten haunted houses, with two already confirmed. But many more will be announced in the months to come. Tickets are already on sale and everything! Now, you might already know that this is the PERFECT event if you want to indulge in some true Halloween scares. However, if you’d like to be the one GIVING the scares, we may just have the perfect opportunity for you: Halloween Horror Nights is hiring!
Universal Orlando has posted several audition notices for Halloween Horror Nights. The first is for scareactors, animated performers, roller skaters, stilt walkers, and puppeteers. Performers of all sizes and looks are encouraged to audition, and rehearsals will take place from early August to late August.
Universal is also hiring actors for Halloween Horror Nights. Candidates must be 4’10” to 6’3″ in height and comfortable working in dim or theatrical lighting, fog effects, and in large crowds. This is probably for actors inside the haunted houses, which could be a LOT of fun for someone looking to scare folks during the Halloween season. Rehearsals are from early August to late August.
If you’re interested in applying for any of these positions, you can learn more at the Universal Orlando casting website. You’ll get all the details you’ll need for each role, as well as details on how you can submit an application to audition.
We’ll keep an eye out for more opportunities like this at Universal Orlando, so stay tuned to DFB for more.
