Let’s be honest: if you are paying Disney World prices, you want every possible second of park time squeezed out of that vacation like the last drop of cold brew on a rope-drop morning.
And thankfully, some hotels really do help with that.

Let’s be honest: if you are paying Disney World prices, you want every possible second of park time squeezed out of that vacation like the last drop of cold brew on a rope-drop morning.
And thankfully, some hotels really do help with that.
A lot has changed in Disney World in the past week, and if it feels like we say that every week — that’s because it’s TRUE!
So much is happening in the parks right now, we’re constantly keeping our eyes peeled for all the latest updates and news regarding the multiple projects happening around Disney World. This past week, an extremely popular ride officially closed for refurbishment, lots of updates and permits have been filed for ongoing projects, and one of our favorite festivals has begun in EPCOT! So what closures do you need to expect this week? We’ve got you covered.
What a week! The EPCOT Flower & Garden Festival kicked off, and y’all, we ate SO much food and drank so many drinks. If you happened to miss all that, be sure to read our reviews for every single food booth at the festival.
In the meantime, we were also keeping an eye on Disney World restaurant menus to look for changes, and we spotted a few! So let’s talk about how Disney World restaurants changed this week.
Can you believe February will be long gone soon, and it will be March? Spring is headed to Disney World, and it will officially kick off on March 4th when the EPCOT Flower & Garden Festival starts.
Now, spring is one of those times when we start seeing Disney World restaurant menus changing. Not only do we start seeing St. Patrick’s Day and Easter treats pop up, but restaurants that source seasonal ingredients will also do a menu refresh, too. We’ve gone through every Disney World restaurant menu that had a change this week, and we’re sharing those updates with you.
We thought there were a lot of changes happening last week in Disney World, but as it turns out, this week is filled with even more big changes that will change the parks for good!
Last week’s changes took place primarily in Animal Kingdom, but now, it’s time for Disney’s Hollywood Studios to join in. Yes, that’s right, the day has officially come — starting this week, Rock ‘n’ Roller Coaster will officially close to make way for its new Muppets retheme!
We know, we know, we’re back again talking about ANOTHER Disney World closure, but hey, it’s what’s really happening all around the resort right now, so we’ve got to keep you updated on it all!
Over at Disney’s Yacht Club Resort, you’ll find one of our favorite lounges — Crew’s Cup Lounge. We’ve known it was coming for weeks now, but today is officially the day. As of today, February 23rd, this lounge is now temporarily closed for refurbishment.
It’s been an exciting week for Disney World food. Although we’re not QUITE done with the EPCOT Festival of the Arts, we’ve already received a lot of BIG details about the EPCOT Flower & Garden Festival, including a list of food booths and full menus for each booth!
However, we also saw some regular Disney World restaurants change their menus this week. So let’s take a closer look at these changes.
There’s a LOT happening this week in Disney World, so if you’re visiting this week or in the upcoming months, you’ve gotta know about these changes ASAP.
While there is construction and changes happening all over the resort, a bunch of the changes happening this week are located inside the parks — specifically EPCOT and Animal Kingdom. Yes, this is indeed the week we’ve been dreading, and it’s here — this week, not only does Festival of the Arts end in EPCOT, but Rafiki’s Planet Watch closes for MONTHS to make way for a new Bluey experience, and we may never see it the same again.
There are so many tasty hidden gems around Disney World, especially at the resorts. If you aren’t dining at the resorts, you’re missing out on so many amazing restaurants and lounges, it’s not even funny!

One of our favorite hidden spots is a dark, casual lounge over at Disney’s Yacht Club. If you’re looking for bites that will make your mouth water, this lounge has been one of our recommended spots for years, and soon, it’s closing for MONTHS! Don’t be caught unprepared; we have all of the information for you right here!
While Disney World is currently defined by major construction projects like Piston Peak, Villains Land, Monsters, Inc. land, and Tropical Americas, there is also a litany of smaller projects going on across the resort.
Case in point, a major dining closures coming to the Yacht Club Resort at the end of February.
