New Bests
Tuna Poke Bowl at Nectar
This bowl is made with edamame, avocado, mango, pickled red onions, seaweed salad, furikake, and umami sauce, all on top of sticky rice for $8.79.
We really loved all the different elements on this dish and how they worked together. The tuna felt high-quality, and the rice was perfectly sticky. The veggies added a nice tang and crunch, and the whole bowl was great quality and value. It might be our new go-to lunch.

DOLE Whip Peach at Swirled Showcase
You know we love DOLE Whip, and this one was served in a cone for $6.29.
We’re begging Disney to bring this back all year round. It’s light and refreshing and mildly sweet without being too much. The peach flavor tasted natural, and we could eat this again and again.

Cinnamon Beignets at The Citrus Blossom
This brand-new treat costs $5.29 and are cinnmon beignets tossed in lemon sugar, lemon glaze, and honey mead-blueberry compote.
These are so easy to share and have a strong lemon flavor that was balanced by the honey mead-blueberry compote. We were super impressed that it had full blueberries in it, and the beignets were doughy and thick in the middle.

Garden Vegetable Flatbread at Trowel & Trellis
We didn’t know we could love flatbread this much. It’s a flatbread featuring Boursin Crumbles Garlic & Fine Herbs Cheese, with roasted vegetables and arugula salad for $5.59.
Look at this portion size for $6! The Boursin was creamy and complemented the vegetables well, and the whole dish felt bright and fresh. We think this might be our new go-to lunch for a while (well, Flower and Garden Festival always gives us lots of lunch options!).

Returning Bests
Trio of Dips and Chips at Yacht Grub
This trio of dips includes housemade potato chips with whipped feta dip and candied lemon, caramelized onion dip and caviar, and pimento cheese and pickles for $6.49.
We were so excited to try these again, and they did not disappoint. Each dip had its own unique flavor, and we loved the crunch and texture of the housemade chips. You seriously can’t go wrong with chips and dips.

Liquid Nitrogen Honey-Mascarpone Cheesecake at Swirled Showcase
We’ve been talking about this for a few years, but in 2025, it got a liquid nitrogen upgrade to make it even better! It’s a cheesecake topped with fresh honey, granulated honey, and honey mead-blueberry compote for $5.49.
This thing is SO good. The honey really comes through, and the cheesecake just melts in your mouth. The blueberry compote tastes fresh, and it subtly complements the cheesecake. Seriously, you need to add this to your “must try” list.

Tarte Aux Oignons Caramelises at Fleur de Lys
We seriously didn’t know a tart with caramelized onions on flaky pastry crust topped with bacon could be this good. It costs $8.25.
This thing was packed with flavor! It wasn’t too dry or too creamy but was just the right texture. The bacon helped balance out the different flavors, and we could taste the spices coming through that helped mellow out the onion. It mixed together perfectly!

Best Plant-Based Dishes of the Fest
Grilled Street Corn on the Cob at Beach Grub
Yum! This corn is covered in a garlic spread and “cheese” (which is put in quotation marks because this is a plant-based dish) for $5.99.
We always end up going back to this dish because of how fresh it tastes. They grill it right in front of you, and it is coated in delicious spices. It’s also so buttery that it literally melts in your mouth, and the added char just takes it to the next level.

Best of the Fest for Kids
Orange-Lemon Smoothie at Citrus Blossom
This is a nonalcoholic drink that comes in an Orange Bird sipper for $15.49.
It feels like drinking an orange sherbert which is kinda the best feeling ever. It’s nostalgic and fun, and we think kids will have a blast drinking this out of the Orange Bird.

Frozen Desert Violet Lemonade at Pineapple Promenade
Yes, everyone is always talking about this drink, and yes, we are included. It’s made with Minute Maid Premium Lemonade with desert pear and violet syrups, and it costs $5.19.
This lemonade is tart in the best way and super refreshing. It’s such a beautiful color and is popular amongst adults and kids. It’s perfect for those hot Florida days!

Best Booth of the Fest
Trowel and Trellis
Please give a big round of applause to Trowel and Trellis for winning DFB’s Best Booth of the Fest (which is a very hard title to get).
We loved the new flatbread, the sticky ribs, which we think about all year round, and the most gorgeous dessert, which totally shows off what the Flower and Garden Festival should be. Everything tasted fresh, was cooked to perfection, and we thought the dishes were great for the price points, too.
