Disney offers a wide variety of dining options across the property’s hotels. However, in the many years I’ve been visiting Disney World, I’ve come across several that leave something to be desired.
Petals Pool Bar
From quick service poolside locations to a sit-down restaurant, each of these Disney World establishments needs some TLC to reach the bar set by many of the resort’s other hotel dining offerings.
We have eaten EVERYWHERE in Disney World, and we aren’t stopping there! We constantly review new food and revisit locations to give you the most up-to-date reviews. We even head to those hidden dining spots that most people probably haven’t even heard of.

It’s been a wonderful week for food in Disney World.
Orange Mousse
First, we got to try new Stitch treats, thanks to 626 Day. Then Flavors of Florida arrived and we got to try a LOT of new food and drinks (and y’all, we’re still thinking about this burger). We also got a look at the 4th of July snacks that will be arriving soon. Disney World restaurants were also busy changing up their menus, and we’ve got details on all the updates.
It’s been another fun week in Disney World, albeit a hot one. As we start counting down the days until fall (or at least until the first Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party and the EPCOT Food & Wine Festival), we’re still busy keeping an eye out for new food in Disney World.

Recently, we found some AMAZING French toast in an unexpected spot PLUS we found a classic Italian treat…in yet another unexpected spot. However, when it comes to menu changes, we’re ALWAYS expecting those, and this week is no different. So let’s see what’s changed in Disney World restaurants this week.

Turf Club Spread
There are hundreds of restaurants in Disney World, and while many of them are pretty spectacular, some spots just need to be put out of their misery already. Today, we’re rounding up the list of Disney World HOTEL restaurants that we think should be closed, replaced, or boarded up, never to be spoken of again!
Disney World can be an overwhelming place for introverts, with the resort’s theme parks and water parks often teeming with people in all corners. Which can make it even more important to have a peaceful hotel to return to after an overwhelming day.
Crowds
However, there are some Walt Disney World hotels that – – whether due to layout, popularity, or geographic location – – are better suited for introverted guests than others.
It’s been another great week in Disney World.
Pimento Cheese Fritters from River Roost
We got to see the Disney Dreamers Academy parade (which only happens once a year). We drank a VERY cool cocktail at The Polite Pig in Disney Springs. We even learned about some new character experiences coming to Disney World. However, we also kept an eye on Disney World restaurant menus, and yep, we’ve got some changes and updates to tell you about this week.
First off, there seems to be something going on with peel-and-eat shrimp! We have seen it removed from 3 menus in March — at Sebastian’s Bistro, Garden Grill, and last week at Akershus. This could be a supply chain or food cost issue, or maybe it is losing popularity? We’re not sure, but read on for more recent menu changes!
Booking a Disney Cruise is a bucket list item for many people, and we totally understand why!
Disney Magic Cruise Ship
It’s completely different from a Disney World vacation, where you’ll do TONS of walking and spend your time riding attractions. A Disney Cruise is much more relaxing (while still being just as entertaining and fun). However, lots of guests want a hint of BOTH on their vacation. If you’re one of those people, then you’ll love Disney’s latest deal, which is available for guests both pre- and post-sailing!
