A BIG celebration is kicking off in Disney World.
The Disney Dreamers Academy has returned to Disney World this year! This four-day event is a mentorship program for black teens from underrepresented communities to inspire them to follow their dreams, much like Walt Disney did. The event includes celebrity appearances, upbeat music, and more! Not only that, but participants also get to participate in a very special parade in Magic Kingdom that we only get to see once a year.
This year’s event started on March 26th and runs through March 30th. As we mentioned, it includes a special parade with participants of the program. It all kicked off with a banner announcing the Disney Dreamers Class of 2025.
Of course, you can’t have a parade without a marching band kicking things off.
Of course, some familiar faces were also on hand to celebrate the Disney Dreamers, including Minnie Mouse.
Princess Tiana also joined some of the Dreamers on a special float.
The Kingdom of Dreams float was giving all Cinderella Castle vibes.
Other Dreamers marched in the parade between floats.
Goofy even led some of the Dreamers.
As you can see, these Disney Dreamers have been given a lot of great opportunities this week and have learned a lot. But most importantly, they’re having a great time while doing so. We love seeing all the smiles!
Spot any familiar faces? This week is the Disney Dreamers Academy in Disney World and we’re checking out all the celebrations. 🎉 pic.twitter.com/55ZP2XnzXp

We do this because it’s important to us as journalists to ensure not only that we give you unbiased opinions, but also that you can trust us to do so since we’re paying our own way. On rare occasions, when we are invited by a company to attend a preview as media, and when we choose to accept that invitation, we will always make you, our readers, aware of that situation. We were invited by Disney World to attend their media event for the Disney Dreamers Academy Celebration. Note that when we attend events as media we are 1) Not required to review that event/food on any of our channels, and 2) Not required to review that event/food favorably. You can always count on DFB to give you a 100% unbiased and honest review of any event that we attend, food that we eat, or beverage that we drink. You can see more in our Disclosure Policy.
