Y’all. We love visiting the EPCOT-area resorts and Disney’s BoardWalk. Why? Well, some of our favorite restaurants and snack spots are there! There’s the often-underrated Ale & Compass Restaurant at Disney’s Yacht Club Resort, the uniquely themed AbracadaBar on the BoardWalk, and Beaches and Cream at Disney’s Beach Club Resort. And how can we forget the recent additions of The Cake Bake Shop by Gwendolyn Rogers and Blue Ribbon Corn Dogs?
However, one place we don’t talk about a lot is the BoardWalk Pizza Window. That’s mostly because it’s mostly just pizza. But believe it or not, you can get a sweet treat here that might just surprise you.
A new addition to the BoardWalk Pizza Window is a Cannoli. Now, we’ve seen mini cannoli here before, but this is a regular-sized version of the treat for $5.29. We’ll admit that we think Disney cannoli is generally lacking, but this one surprised us. First, it’s got a Mickey in chocolate on one side. The icing inside is also nice with a slightly lemon flavor, along with the chocolate chips stuffed into it. That’s all wrapped in a cannoli shell with a thin layer of milk chocolate on the inside.
We were also surprised at how well this treat stood up in the heat. It’s also a nice break from super sweet snacks. It’s light. It’s also just a little over $5, and considering the more expensive snacks you can get nearby, like those at The Cake Bake Shop, it’s a great value. So, yep, this cannoli is SOLID.
