Let’s be honest: if you are paying Disney World prices, you want every possible second of park time squeezed out of that vacation like the last drop of cold brew on a rope-drop morning.
And thankfully, some hotels really do help with that.
food IS a theme park
Let’s be honest: if you are paying Disney World prices, you want every possible second of park time squeezed out of that vacation like the last drop of cold brew on a rope-drop morning.
And thankfully, some hotels really do help with that.
Disney World Resort food courts…you either love ’em or hate ’em.
Some are arguably better than others (we’re not exactly raving about the dining options at the All-Star Resorts), but when you’re in a bind, they’re often available with some crowd-pleasing and occasionally exclusive dining options. Recently, we made a visit to Sassagoula Floatworks & Food Factory at Port Orleans Resort — French Quarter, and here we’ve rounded up our thoughts on the experience!
A rare parade has returned to Disney World, and we would bet you’ve never heard of it! Disney parades are some of the most popular forms of live entertainment in the park, but for this parade, you don’t even need a park ticket.

The Alice in Wonderland Float!
Over at Disney’s Port Orleans resort, there is a very special parade that happens only once a year, and we’re bringing you along with us! Let’s check out the Port Orleans Mardi Gras Parade!
Love is in the air…and so is the smell of fresh Disney desserts!

Valentine’s treats!
For the upcoming holiday, Disney World has introduced several new limited-time treats designed to celebrate Valentine’s Day in the most Disney way possible. We sampled a mix of desserts and drinks to give you a clear, honest look at how they taste and whether they’re worth building into your day.
Happy New Year, DFB friends! We have officially kicked off 2026 in Disney World and said goodbye to the holiday season.
But there’s SO much to look forward to in the coming weeks, including the EPCOT Festival of the Arts, where we’ll be eating our way through every food booth (and we are SO ready). However, before that happens, we’ve got some changes to tell you about that are happening at Disney World restaurants. Yes, it’s that time again…let’s look at the Disney World restaurant menu changes from this week. Here’s a word of warning: some of your favorite holiday snacks and drinks are officially gone for the season!
Icons are icons for a reason!
Recently, we took a visit to Port Orleans – French Quarter Resort to once again sample one of Walt Disney World’s best-known and most beloved hotel snacks to see if it still lives up to its reputation.
If you are planning a Disney World vacation in 2026, there is a change coming to Disney Moderate Hotels that you need to know about! The change was announced back in April 2025 and officially takes effect in 2026. We don’t want you to forget about the change as you start planning your vacation.
While the change isn’t trip-altering, Disney will be changing how it categorizes rooms at Moderate Hotels. So you won’t need to change all your plans, but we also didn’t want you to be confused if you are used to making a specific room reservation for your trip.
Well, December is here, and before you know it, we’ll be celebrating Christmas and New Year’s Eve in Disney World (and, honestly, is there any better place to celebrate it?). We’ve been really enjoying the holiday season, too, including all the food at the EPCOT Festival of the Holidays (cookies for DAYS, y’all).
However, that’s not all that’s going on with Disney World food. Restaurant menus have changed again this week, and we’re going through all those changes so you don’t have any surprises if you’re visiting Disney World soon. So let’s get on with the updates!
Happy Holidays from Disney World, y’all! The EPCOT Festival of the Holidays has officially kicked off, meaning there’s even MORE new food and drinks to try in Disney World.
Now, we were at the festival on DAY ONE checking out everything, but we were also spending some time checking out changes to Disney World restaurant menus. So let’s see what changed this week.
When you’re headed out the door of your Disney World hotel room on your way to the parks, the first thing that might come to your mind is, “What are we grabbing for breakfast?” Maybe you’ve decided on a plan the night before that included making a stop at the hotel’s quick-service spot to grab a quick brekky, but we want to give a word of warning before you rush off.
Every Disney World hotel has a quick-service dining facility that offers breakfast options. The Value Resorts all have food courts, while the Moderate and Deluxe Resorts offer quick-service restaurants. These can be great places to grab a little meal before hitting the parks, but you’ll definitely want to heed this warning if you do plan on stopping there.
