With a roster of nearly 30 hotels, there’s arguably a stay for every kind of traveler on Walt Disney World property. However, some of the resorts could use a bit of TLC.

Over my 30 years visiting Disney World, I’ve spent a significant amount of time at each of these properties, which run the gamut of Disney’s hotel tiers, from Value through Moderate, all the way to the Deluxe level.
It’s the second week of August, and we have been busy eating and drinking our way around Disney World this week.

That’s because the Disney Adults Crawl is officially ON (you can learn more about that here) AND Disney has already dropped MORE snacks for World Princess Week, including snacks themed around Moana, Tiana, Pocahontas, and more. Disney World restaurants have also been busying changing up their menus, so let’s see what changed this week.
When you’re choosing a Walt Disney World resort, dining options are a major part of the vibe—especially if you love escaping the parks for a chill meal. There are dozens of restaurants scattered across the resorts, and some real culinary gems fly under the radar. Even if your whole trip revolves around park days, a late lunch or dinner at your hotel can be a game‑changer.

Disney offers a wide variety of dining options across the property’s hotels. However, in the many years I’ve been visiting Disney World, I’ve come across several that leave something to be desired.

From quick service poolside locations to a sit-down restaurant, each of these Disney World establishments needs some TLC to reach the bar set by many of the resort’s other hotel dining offerings.
If I’m going to Disney World’s All-Star Resorts, it’s probably against my will.
All-Star Music
Alright, that may be a slight exaggeration, but when I say that these hotels aren’t anywhere near the top of my list (and probably not at the top of many people’s lists!), that’s quite true. All-Star Movies, All-Star Music, and All-Star Sports may be the cheapest of the Disney World resorts, but sometimes that means dealing with some super cringey things when you stay there!
Well, we survived the 4th of July in Disney World and even got to eat a few patriotic treats in the process.

Of course, now that the holiday has passed, we’re looking forward to Halloween season in Disney World because the first Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party is only a little over a month away. Yep, time flies! In the meantime, we’ve been checking out some new foods and drinks in the parks, and keeping an eye on restaurant menus. We finally got LOADS of new details about the Cars expansion coming to Frontierland, including that it will be called Piston Peak, and that it will introduce some new characters into the Cars universe (now if only Disney would drop some hints about what kind of FOOD this expansion will have — we have questions!).
