When the pandemic shut down travel around the world, the cruise line industry took a big hit.
It has been a while!
Since then, many sailings have been canceled and departures delayed. But now, Disney Cruise Line is going to set sail again.
Disney may be a massive company that makes the big bucks, but even they aren’t immune to unexpected issues!
Disney is not immune to random problems!
Over the years, we’ve seen all kinds of random problems in the parks, from weather-related shutdowns to tech glitches to animatronic malfunctions. And today, a huge internet and app outage is causing some issues at Disneyland Resort!
We’re excited about many of the new projects coming to Disney World soon, but if there’s one that intrigues us the most, it would probably be the new Star Wars Hotel!
The Halcyon Model
Star Wars: Galactic Starcruiser is set to open in 2022 and it’s unlike any other Disney Resort. It’ll be similar to a cruise ship experience, where guests are “onboard” for two days. However, there are also many interactive elements of your stay — and today we got a fresh look into what it’s going to be like!

We’re currently waiting on more details and opening date announcements for big projects like the new Tron Coaster, Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind, and the rest of the EPCOT Transformation. On top of those, Disney World is building the very first Star Wars hotel, and today we got the promotional poster with some bonus details!
Now that things are starting to go back to “normal” in the theme park world, we’re seeing restaurant, resort, and attraction reopenings all over the place!

Disneyland Resort in particular has seen quite a few things open back up in recent weeks, and now, dining reservations are available for a returning restaurant in Disney California Adventure!
One of the most classic ways to travel around Disney World (and one of our favorites!) is the monorail.
The EPCOT Monorail is BACK!
There are two theme parks with monorail service at Disney World — Magic Kingdom and EPCOT. While the Magic Kingdom monorail loop has been running since the reopening, the EPCOT monorail line just reopened the other day after being closed since March 2020. And now, just 2 days after reopening, it’s already closed again!
There is SO much to watch on Disney+ right now, and yet there’s even more content coming soon!

We just finished streaming all of Loki, and now we’ve got other new series like Monsters at Work and Turner and Hooch. Next Wednesday, another new show joins the lineup — Chip ‘n’ Dale: Park Life!

It seems like everything from rides to restaurants to resorts are getting reopening dates, and we’re very excited to check it all out. Recently, it was announced that character meals are coming back to the resort, and today you can make reservations for one of those meals!
