Hollywood Studios is having its BIGGEST week in years — a new version of Millennium Falcon: Smugglers Run, a whole new LAND that has opened early, and the rethemed Rock ‘N’ Rollercoaster is opening May 26th. We had a chance to check ALL of it out, and I cannot wait to share the details with you! Plus, Disneyland just ended a restriction that’s been in place since 2020, Disney named a brand new Walt Disney World president, and there is a TON happening over at Universal.

May 26th cannot come soon enough in Disney World. While there are tons of openings happening, for me, I only have my eyes on the prize: Rock ‘n’ Roller Coaster Starring The Muppets.

Let me just say, climbing into that limo, pulling down the harness, and being launched into a world of Muppets was seriously a dream come true. Rock ‘n’ Roller Coaster Starring The Muppets is opening in Hollywood Studios on May 26th, and previews are currently happening for Annual Passholders.

During our first ride through, we were pretty blown away. Yes, we loved the Aerosmith version with all of our hearts, but can you imagine Hollywood Studios without The Muppets? No way! CHANGES Hit Disney World App – And, We Think You’re Going To Love It

Disney, we cannot thank you enough for this app change. We’re not being dramatic when we say we’ve waited years for this change and will never, ever go back to the old way.

If you’ve ever made a park reservation, you might have noticed how annoying it is to use the app, but then be linked to an outside website to actually make the reservation. Lucky for us, making park reservations just got so much easier.

Tom Kane, Voice Actor for Disney World Monorail and Happily Ever After, Has Died

According to the Hollywood Reporter, Tom Kane, a beloved voice actor, has died at age 64.

Kane passed away from stroke complications, and a statement said, “From his unforgettable performances in Star Wars to countless animated series, documentaries, and games, Tom brought wisdom, strength, humor, and heart to every role he touched. His voice became part of our lives, our memories, and the stories we carry with them.”

Soarin’ Across America is Disney’s latest version of the beloved Soarin’ attraction, and it’s officially opening to the public on May 26th. You’ll hop on the iconic seats, click your seatbelt in, and pull on that yellow tab before taking off on a journey across the United States, all in honor of the 250th anniversary of the country.

Permits are one of those sneaky things that Disney World likes to publish, giving us a small idea of what could be happening in the parks. It gives us a look at when work will start on projects that have already been announced, but Disney hasn’t told us what’s happening in the area. Why You’ll See a Random Crowd in EPCOT at 2:15 PM

Yes, big rides and shows are fun at Disney World, but it’s really the little things that make everything so magical. One thing we love is “streetmosphere.”

Streetmosphere is when there are performers throughout the parks! They usually put on small shows, interact with guests, and don’t require any waiting in line. We just caught a show in EPCOT, and we’re kinda obsessed.
