In Just 7 Days, Disney’s Animal Kingdom CHANGES in 2 Major Ways!

Something NEW is arriving at Disney’s Animal Kingdom in just ONE week! Recently, it has felt like closure after closure at Disney’s Animal Kingdom. There have been many closures to prepare for the new land, Pueblo Esperanza, a Tropical Americas-themed land coming to Animal Kingdom in 2027. Additionally, Kali River Rapids and Harambe Market are both temporarily closed for refurbishment.

This time around, though, something is OPENING! It is not technically a new location, but it is a brand-new show at a previously inhabited location. Zootopia: Better Zoogether! opens in just a week, on November 7th, 2025, and we can’t wait. This new show is taking the place of It’s Tough to Be a Bug, with a fresh new look and a whole new story. Whether you are a fan of Zootopia or are just looking for somewhere to sit for a bit, we are happy to welcome this new addition to Animal Kingdom. Plus, a NEW meet and greet is arriving in Animal Kingdom! A new show AND a new meet and greet — that is two major upgrades for Animal Kingdom.

It is finally time to go down the bayou with Tiana and all of her friends at Disneyland!

With the opening of this attraction, Bayou Country, which was re-imagined from Critter Country, is also officially complete! We are here on opening day, and we were surprised by the crowd levels in Bayou Country on this attraction’s opening day.

We are “almost there!” It was an exciting weekend as Disney FINALLY announced the opening date for Tiana’s Bayou Adventure in Disney World!

We have been keeping a close eye on the construction progress in Magic Kingdom, and we are excited that we finally know when we will be able to travel through the New Orleans Bayou with Tiana and friends. The attraction will officially open on June 28th, 2024, and we have the perfect thing for opening day!

There are a lot of new things coming to the Magic Kingdom in Disney World. We are expecting the debut of Country Bear Musical Jamboree, as well as a new experience in Storybook Circus called “Smellephants on Parade.”

We are getting closer to opening day!

And of course, we can’t forget the opening of Tiana’s Bayou Adventure. We have been seeing lots of progress recently, including lots of construction walls coming down, and cast members riding the attraction! But what is really going on behind-the-scenes to get ready for the grand opening?
