We’ve seen execs taking pay cuts, Cast Members being furloughed, the company taking on new debt, and even purchasing a new parcel of land. To those of us on the outside, it appears as though Disney has been thoughtfully planning their moves not only to protect themselves financially but to ensure a future for the parks we love. Former Disney CEO, Bob Iger, spoke to how the latest events have impacted the company’s vision moving forward in a recent interview with Barron’s.

From flower art to flip-flop “thank yous,” Disney properties are sending love to all those serving on the front lines — but they didn’t stop there!
The parks may be closed “until further notice,” but we are already thinking of Disney days ahead.

Once we step into the A.C. (after closure) era of Disney Parks, we suspect many things will likely be different to accommodate health and safety concerns. We certainly don’t want to miss out on any of our favorite attractions; but we expect some elements of attractions may have to change, possibly including how we queue up for those rides.
And we think there’s a pretty solid option out there for how we can ride all our favorite rides AND still keep a healthy, safe distance.

If you’ve been following along at DFB for a while, you know that Via Napoli stole a pizza our hearts from the beginning. Even though there are plenty of exotic foods all around the World Showcase in Epcot, we find ourselves being drawn back to their classic Italian dishes time and again.

It’s like a trusted friend or coming home after a long time away — it’s become a reliable and comfortable staple for us. So you won’t be surprised that we snuck another trip back to Via Napoli into our last trip to Disney World! We are reporting back on whether one of our favorite pizza spots lived up to our cheesy expectations!
