Over the course of the last 70 years, Disney has opened 12 theme parks across the world, from Anaheim’s original Disneyland all the way to the modern marvel that is Shanghai Disneyland.
Spread across the 6 resorts that house those 12 parks, Disney’s Imagineers have crafted hundreds of attractions, rides, and experiences, and over the years, we here at DFB have been lucky enough to see them all. Suffice to say, it’s tough to surprise us at a Disney park… tough, but not impossible.
We recently stopped by one of the premier snack spots in World Showcase — Kringla Bakeri og Kafe in the park’s Norway Pavilion — to check on one of EPCOT’s best-known snacks.
The Norwegian Kringla has been such an integral part of the Norway pavilion for decades, so much so that the bakery is actually NAMED after it. While the party has always remained solid, we’d felt it lost a bit of its shine recently. Was that still the case on our last visit? Let’s find out!
Walt Disney World offers a wide variety of attractions over its four theme parks, with rides for everyone from young children to thrill seekers to grandparents. Hollywood Studios alone features rides that fit into all these categories. However, just because Disney has different rides for every potential guest doesn’t mean that every ride is for every potential guest.
In my 30+ years visiting Disney World, my own body has started reacting differently to different rides, to the point where I’ve had to change some of my every visit list, especially when it comes to rides, and I’m only in my late 30s. How about Walt Disney World guests in their 50s? Which Hollywood Studios rides do some in that age range tend to skip? Well, this is what our anecdotal research shows!
Each week, we scour Amazon to find the latest Disney merchandise and steepest Disney deals the massive e-tailer has to offer.
As the end of the year barrels ever closer, we’ve assembled a varied list of finds, from games and holiday favorites to household goods and even a perfect Disney World t-shirt, all of which are available on Amazon RIGHT NOW!
Thanks to the combination of Holiday celebrations and school breaks, December is one of the busiest months of the year at Walt Disney World. If you’re planning on being one of the millions visiting the “Most Magical Place on Earth” this coming December, there are certain things you’ll NEED to know.
In the 30+ years I’ve been visiting Walt Disney World, December might be my favorite time of the year to visit, thanks to the copious amounts of holiday decorations, snacks, and general feelings of jolliness that permeate the resort. However, to make the best of visiting during the month, there are certain things to keep in mind.
As the Magic Kingdom prepares to turn 55 in October of 2026, the park is set to have a game-changing year that will see not one, not two, but three classic attractions updated for a new generation of guests, all while two massive new lands rise at the back of the park.
Over the course of my 30+ years visiting Disney theme parks, I’ve seen the Magic Kingdom transform a great deal. However, few years match 2025, which saw the closure of the entire Rivers of America. With that iconic opening day area closed, what will 2026 bring? Well, let’s find out.
Disney’s Tangled is celebrating its 15th anniversary (yes, we’re all getting old), and the House of Mouse is teaming with Her Universe on a new collection in honor of the milestone!
The merchandise celebrates Rapunzel in all her stylish, if somewhat unkempt, glory, and is available on Disney’s webstore now!
One of Walt Disney World’s most iconic Holiday events is almost here, and with it comes a veritable smorgasbord of delectable new Holiday treats.
Kicking off on November 28th — the day after Thanksgiving — EPCOT’s annual International Festival of the Holidays features seasonal flavors from around the world, including several options debuting in 2025.
If you’ve ever been to the Magic Kingdom, you know that walking around Walt Disney World’s Magic Kingdom can cause you to work up quite an appetite. That’s where this savory snack option comes in.
Now, Frontierland’s Pecos Bill Tall Tale Inn and Cafe is often overlooked as a snack spot. It’s a stop many make to have rice bowls, burgers, or pulled pork sandwiches for lunch or dinner. But we think this is a great stop for a snack! It’s indoors (air conditioning!) with a variety of sides on the menu, and we need to tell you about our favorite one!
