After months of waiting, the time has almost arrived! LEVEL99 will officially open in Disney Springs on June 29th.
We are so excited to experience this all-new interactive game facility EARLY, and of course, we are bringing you all along as we explore everything LEVEL99 has to offer!
LEVEL99 is an interactive experience that includes challenges and games, both physical and mental. The Disney Springs location has a whopping total of 63 life-sized games and challenges to play alongside your family and friends. During the grand opening’s welcome ceremony, it was stressed that the point of LEVEL99 is to create activities that aren’t focused on screens for families and friends in a world dominated by screens.
Disney Springs is the perfect venue for this experience, and we were so thrilled to check it out today! Let’s head inside!
Oh, we also got our wristbands, which you’ll use when accessing the games and challenges.
We were greeted with a welcome first round beverage…Okay, we see you, LEVEL99. This is the Que Pop, a sparkling session rose from California 2025.
During the welcome ceremony, there was also a ribbon cutting, which was appropriately done with an axe!
Inside, you’ll find a full bar.
Also, don’t you just love the fun vibes of this place?
There are also lockers where you can store your things while you’re playing.
We learned that the Disney Springs location brought in a serious team of game designers to create the games for this location.
The company even said that this could be “the best LEVEL99 we have ever built and maybe the best we will ever build.” So the hype is REAL, y’all.
You’ll find three types of games at LEVEL99: Challenge Rooms, Duels, and Art Hunts. Challenge Rooms are cooperative games for teams of two to six players with either a physical, skill, or mental challenge. Duels are head-to-head challenges with other players. Art hunts are scavenger hunts to find playful art throughout the space.
We had a chance to play a TON of games during our experience, including Magician’s Sideshow, which is described as a “mental mystery” in a game designed around “the greatest show on Earth.”
We also played Brain Cells, which is another mental challenge…and y’all, some of these are TOUGH.
Island Shrine will test your bashing skills, skill dexterity, and balance as you answer the call of the tribe who has summoned you, but first, you must prove yourself worthy.
You earn stars when you play games and once you get a certain number of stars, you can customize your avatar with color, animated effects, icons, etc. So stars are earned by playing and each game awards anywhere from zero to three stars (with three being the best possible score). You also get stars for winning duels, as well as for every glyph you correctly identify on the art hunt. Stars will put you on the overall leaderboard that combines all LEVEL99 locations, so you can play wherever and your score will follow you. Also, if you want to get a high score, ask the staff because they know all the tips and tricks to all the games.
You can also earn puzzle pieces that can go towards prizes like a snack, t-shirt, sticker water bottler, and more. You can also earn coins on the game screens. These coins can be traded for puzzle pieces for specific prizes.
If you want to change your username, you can do that at any room. We’ll be covering ALL the games soon, so be sure to keep an eye out for that.
So let’s talk about the experience itself. If you plan on visiting LEVEL99 solo, there’s not going to be much for you to do because the majority of the games are designed for at least two players. However, if you want to just pop in for a drink or snack without playing any games, you can do that for free (well, minus the cost of said drink or snack). However, note that if the space is at capacity, those with reservations will get into LEVEL99 first.
If you want to commemorate your LEVEL99 experience, there’s also a store where you can get souvenirs.
You can also Fuel Up at the on-site restaurant, which features a menu of delicious bites, entrees, and Detroit-style pizza, which LEVEL99 is FAMOUS for. We ordered a few snacks, including the Elote and Tortilla Chips.
Overall, we love this place and really think it sets out to do what it’s meant to do: get away from their screens to work and play together. If you’re looking for a fun group activity in Disney Springs, you should add LEVEL99 to your must-do list!
We had an amazing time exploring LEVEL99 today, and we can’t wait to come back and try out even more games and challenges. We will continue to bring you all the Disney World news, so stay tuned with Disney Food Blog so you never miss anything!
