There’s a secret soda flavor at Disney World…and it’s not in the parks!

We found it!
While everyone’s busy hunting snacks inside the theme parks, Disney has quietly tucked an exclusive soda flavor inside one of its newest hotels. And if you know JUST where to search for it, this drink is one of those blink-and-you’ll-miss-it details that feels very Disney, but we’re spilling all of its secrets!
Disney World has no shortage of hidden gems, but this one is especially fun if you love tracking down exclusive food and drinks. Tucked away at a Coca-Cola Freestyle machine outside Wailulu Bar & Grill, you can find a quietly exclusive soda flavor you won’t see anywhere else on property: Island Time Fizz, plus a Zero Sugar version.

Coca-Cola Freestyle Machines
This is an exclusive Sprite-based flavor available only at the Coca-Cola Freestyle machine located near Wailulu at Island Tower. You can grab it by purchasing a paper cup from Wailulu for $6.17 (we did this during breakfast hours), or by using a refillable Disney resort mug. Just a heads up: the Freestyle machine won’t dispense drinks unless it detects an activated chip, so you can’t use a random cup or water bottle — the machine has to read that chip before letting you select a beverage!

Closer look
Also, quick credit where it’s due, this wasn’t some big discovery moment on our end. We originally saw Island Time Fizz pop up on social media and immediately added it to our “must-try” list.
Flavor-wise, both versions are essentially POG-flavored Sprite — passion fruit, orange, and guava layered into that familiar lemon-lime base. That said, the two versions tasted surprisingly different to us. Whether that was due to syrup ratios, carbonation levels, or just the machine having an off day is hard to say, but the differences were noticeable.

Island Time Fizz
The regular Island Time Fizz leaned much heavier on the Sprite side. It looked bubblier, stayed fizzy longer, and tasted more lemon-lime forward, with the tropical POG flavors sitting underneath as a subtle backdrop. It was sweeter overall and felt more like a classic soda with a tropical twist.
The Zero Sugar version, on the other hand, flipped that balance. The carbonation faded faster visually, but tasted sharper and more soda-water-forward. This one was much heavier on the POG (especially the passion fruit and guava), with Sprite coming in at the end as a bright, citrusy finish. It was noticeably less sweet, almost like drinking POG juice mixed with sparkling water, which honestly worked really well if you like bold tropical flavors without the sugar!

Island Time Zero Sugar
If we had to choose, we slightly preferred the regular version, but if you’re a true POG fan, the Zero Sugar option might actually be your pick. It’s a little confusing (and could’ve been machine-related), but either way, it’s a fun, refreshing drink worth seeking out.

3 refills within an hour
One last pro tip: if you buy the paper cup from Wailulu, it’s valid for three refills within one hour, which makes this feel like a pretty solid value (especially if you’re curious enough to try both versions side by side)!
