Disney World food math is a dangerous sport. One minute you’re ordering a perfectly reasonable dinner, and the next minute your receipt is long enough to qualify as a Magic Kingdom parade route. But Annual Passholders? You’ve got a new reason to make those dining reservations.
During the limited-time V.I.PASSHOLDER Summer Days dining discount, Passholders can save up to 40% at select Disney World restaurants this summer. That includes a bunch of table-service spots across the parks and resorts, and yes, several of these are places where a discount can actually make a noticeable difference. We are not talking “saved enough for half a Mickey ice cream sandwich” money here.
Here’s what you need to know before you start booking lunch like you’ve discovered buried treasure under Spaceship Earth.
The Big Discount Deal
Annual Passholders can save 40% at select Disney World restaurants from May 1st through July 31st, 2026, but there is one big catch sitting right in the middle of the table wearing a tiny napkin bib. The discount is only valid Monday through Thursday. So, if you were hoping to roll into a Saturday dinner and casually knock 40% off the check, Disney has gently closed that door and locked it with a themed key.
The discount applies to the regular price of food and nonalcoholic beverages, excluding tax and gratuity. It is also dine-in only, cannot be combined with other discounts or promotions, and special events and dining packages are excluded. Passholders can use the discount for themselves and up to 3 guests. You’ll need to show your Annual Pass ID in the My Disney Experience app and a valid photo ID at the time of purchase. In short, this is a very useful discount, but it is not a free-for-all buffet coupon.
EVERY Passholder Perk You Can Get Right NOW in Disney World
The 10 Restaurants With 40% Off
Passholders can save 40% at the following restaurants during the offer period, with meal-specific restrictions at several locations.
Biergarten Restaurant
Discount available for lunch only.
Biergarten is a new addition to this summer’s iteration of V.I.PASSHOLDER Summer Days. It is already one of those places where you either “get it” immediately or someone in your group spends the meal looking mildly confused by the oompah band, the family-style German food, and the joyful indoor village energy.
A 40% discount at Biergarten is worth paying attention to because it is a fixed-price meal, so your savings are more predictable. If you’ve been curious about Biergarten but never wanted to commit full-price buffet dollars, this is a pretty good excuse to go meet some schnitzel.
REVIEW: It’s EPCOT’s Liveliest Restaurant, But Is There Anything Not to Love About Biergarten?
Coral Reef Restaurant
Discount available for dinner only.
Coral Reef is one of those EPCOT restaurants that has an automatic selling point built into the wall, because you’re eating beside a massive aquarium. That does a lot of heavy lifting. The food here can be a little divisive among Disney fans, but dinner with a 40% discount changes the conversation. Suddenly, this becomes a much easier recommendation for Passholders who want a quieter EPCOT meal, a break from festival booth grazing, or a dining room that feels removed from the park chaos.
Will the fish judge your entrée order? Probably. That’s between you and the aquarium.
Does Coral Reef Have A Dress Code in Disney World?
Garden Grill Restaurant
Discount available for lunch and dinner.
Garden Grill is one of the more interesting options on this list because it is a character meal, and character meals are exactly where Disney dining prices can start doing jazz hands at your wallet. This rotating restaurant in The Land pavilion serves family-style food and includes character interactions, which makes it a sneaky strong pick for Passholders traveling with kids or adults who want to see Mickey in farmer gear. And frankly, farmer Mickey deserves the respect of a statesman.
Garden Grill is also new to the V.I.PASSHOLDER Summer Days dining discount in 2026.
REVIEW: As If We Needed ANOTHER Reason To Go to Garden Grill at EPCOT
Hollywood & Vine
Discount available for breakfast, lunch, and dinner.
Hollywood & Vine being included for all three meal periods is a huge deal. This Hollywood Studios restaurant is a buffet-style character dining spot, and depending on the meal, you may see Disney Junior characters or seasonal character looks. If you’re visiting Hollywood Studios on a weekday in June, this could be a practical way to build in a big meal, air-conditioning, characters, and a meaningful discount all at once.
This is especially useful if your day involves kids, Toy Story Land, or the kind of midday exhaustion that makes everyone stare intently at the My Disney Experience app refreshing the Lightning Lane feature with a hope and a prayer.

Tiffins Restaurant
Discount available for dinner only.
Now this one has our attention. Tiffins is one of the best restaurants in Disney’s Animal Kingdom and often lands high on the list of Disney World restaurants that feel genuinely adult, thoughtful, and beautifully designed. This is not a “grab nuggets and keep marching” situation. This is a sit-down, breathe-for-a-second, remember-you-are-a-human-being meal.
A 40% discount at Tiffins dinner is a strong offer, especially for Passholders who have skipped it in the past because it sits in that “looks lovely, costs real money” category. This is the kind of discount that can turn “maybe someday” into “grab the reservation.”

Tusker House Restaurant
Discount available for lunch and dinner.
Tusker House is another character meal on this list, and honestly, this one can be a great use of the discount. The food is more interesting than the average theme park buffet, the character costumes are adorable, and the location makes it an easy Animal Kingdom lunch or dinner anchor.
If your Animal Kingdom day includes early rides, wandering through animal trails, and then suddenly realizing you’ve eaten nothing but a granola bar and spite, Tusker House can rescue the itinerary. With 40% off, this becomes a much more compelling pick for Passholders, especially if you’re dining with a small group.
I Review Disney World Food for My Job and Character Meals Are My Olympics
Boatwright’s Dining Hall
Discount available for dinner only.
Boatwright’s is tucked over at Disney’s Port Orleans Resort – Riverside, which means it doesn’t always get the same hype as park restaurants or monorail resort dining. But that can work in your favor. This is a solid option if you want a quieter resort dinner, especially if you’re staying at Port Orleans or planning an evening away from the parks. It’s also a nice pick for those “I don’t want insanity, I want soul food” nights, which should be an official vacation category.
Boatwright’s is not usually the flashiest Disney dining reservation on the board, but with 40% off dinner, it starts looking much more interesting.

Cape May Cafe
Discount available for dinner only.
Cape May Cafe at Disney’s Beach Club Resort is a seafood-forward buffet at dinner, and this is another place where a percentage discount can actually do some work. If you’re spending the day at EPCOT or Hollywood Studios, Cape May is especially convenient thanks to its location near the International Gateway and Skyliner area. This could be a smart dinner choice for Passholders planning a weekday EPCOT evening, especially if you want to escape the festival booth shuffle for one sit-down meal.
Bonus points if you pair it with a BoardWalk stroll afterward. That’s not required, but it is emotionally correct.

Toledo – Tapas, Steak & Seafood
Discount available for dinner.
Toledo at Disney’s Coronado Springs Resort is one of those restaurants that still feels like a secret to some Disney World guests, despite being perched up in Gran Destino Tower looking very glamorous about it. This is a great Passholder discount pick if you want a date night, a friends’ dinner, or a meal that feels more elevated without automatically wandering into “signature dining sticker shock” territory.
The views are lovely, the room is gorgeous, and with 40% off, Toledo becomes one of the strongest resort dining options in this whole deal.

Whispering Canyon Cafe
Discount available for brunch and dinner.
We have reached the Wilderness Lodge portion of the program, so please allow us to sit up straighter. Whispering Canyon Cafe is loud, silly, family-friendly, and fully committed to the bit. This is not where you go for a quiet whisper of a meal, despite the deeply suspicious name. This is where you go for skillets, antics, and enough energy to power a small frontier town.
A 40% discount for brunch and dinner makes this a standout if you’re planning a resort meal, especially because Wilderness Lodge is already worth visiting just to wander through the lobby and pretend you have your life together. Do not ask for ketchup unless you are ready to live with the consequences.
REVIEW: This Disney World Restaurant Once Again Proves Why It’s So Popular
Don’t Forget the 20% Discounts, Too
While the headline grabber here is obviously the 40% discount, Disney also confirmed a 20% discount at two Magic Kingdom restaurants during the same offer period, Monday through Thursday from May 1st through July 31st, 2026.
Those restaurants are:
- Be Our Guest Restaurant – Lunch only
- The Crystal Palace – Lunch and dinner
Both of these restaurants are also marked by Disney as new to the V.I.PASSHOLDER Summer Days dining discount in 2026.
A 20% discount is not as dramatic as 40%, obviously, but at Magic Kingdom table-service prices, it still matters. Be Our Guest and Crystal Palace can both be pricey meals, so if you were already planning one of these reservations, the Passholder discount is worth knowing about.
REVIEW: Why You Should Skip Disney World’s Be Our Guest Restaurant and Eat HERE Instead
Which Discount Is Actually the Best?
The best value depends on how you eat, how many people are in your party, and whether you were already planning to book one of these restaurants. For pure savings potential, character meals and fixed-price meals are probably where Passholders should look first. That makes restaurants like Garden Grill, Tusker House, Hollywood & Vine, and Biergarten especially interesting.
For a more elevated meal, Tiffins and Toledo are the ones we’d be circling in red pen. These are the kinds of restaurants where 40% off can make the meal feel like a very different financial conversation.
For resort dining, Whispering Canyon Cafe, Cape May Cafe, Boatwright’s, and Toledo give Passholders a reason to build a non-park dinner into the trip. That can be especially handy in June, when the parks can feel hot enough to melt your sunglasses directly into your face.
A Few Rules Before You Book
Before you start stacking reservations like you’re building a dining Jenga tower, remember the details.
This offer is Monday through Thursday only. It is dine-in only. It applies to food and nonalcoholic beverages, but not tax or gratuity. It cannot be combined with other discounts, offers, or promotions, and Disney specifically excludes special events and dining packages like EPCOT event dining packages and Fantasmic! Dining Packages. Reservations are strongly recommended, and participating restaurants can change without notice.
Also, theme park restaurants still require valid park admission and any required park reservation. Passholders can generally visit parks after 2 PM without a theme park reservation except Magic Kingdom on Saturdays and Sundays, but blockout dates still apply. So yes, the discount is exciting. But please do not arrive at Garden Grill on a blocked-out day with nothing but vibes and a dream.
Disney World Is Getting NEW Annual Passholder Perks!
Is This Worth Planning Around?
For Annual Passholders, absolutely. A 40% dining discount is one of those perks that can meaningfully shift the way you plan a Disney World day, especially if you live nearby or visit often enough to choose your dining days strategically. If you can move a reservation from Friday to Thursday, or plan a resort dinner on a weeknight, this could save real money.
This is also a good reminder that Disney dining strategy is not just about finding the best restaurant. It’s about knowing when to go, what discounts apply, which meal period counts, and whether your group will actually eat enough skillet food to justify the reservation. These are sacred calculations. Spreadsheet people, this is your moment.
Keep Stretching That Disney Dining Dollar
If you’re an Annual Passholder heading to Disney World in June, this is a discount worth using. Ten restaurants are offering 40% off select meals Monday through Thursday, and two Magic Kingdom restaurants are offering 20% off during the same weekday window. That can turn an expensive sit-down meal into a much smarter splurge.
