REVIEW: Bamboo Blessings at Disney's Lunar New Year Festival 2026

Disney food festivals are our bread and butter here at DFB, and we’re back with ANOTHA ONE! It’s time for the Lunar New Year Festival at Disney California Adventure at Disneyland Resort.

As part of our reviews for this year’s event, we stopped by Bamboo Blessings to check out the menu. Time to take a look at what’s new, what’s returning, and what’s a must-get in 2026. Let’s go!

This year, California Adventure is celebrating the Year of the Horse with special festival offerings until February 22nd. That means these booths are only open for a limited time!

Eats

We started by snagging that Five-Spice Popcorn Chicken with sweet chili-garlic sauce for $9.50.

This is crunchy, peppery, moist chicken, and it’s a great vehicle to scoop that sweet chili garlic sauce into your mouth. We adore the sauce! It’s got a tiny kick with a sweetness that evens it out, so it’s a great mix for nearly everyone (unless you’re really spice-averse).

The Strawberry Milk Tea Macaron is made with strawberry buttercream with a milk tea center, and it’s $9. We were very pleasantly surprised here that the strawberry buttercream genuinely tasted like a genuine strawberry, not artificial. The macaron has a crisp outer shell with a soft center, and the milk tea portion in the middle has a spot-on taste with a bit of a jelly texture. The flavors all really balance each other out, so we’re big fans!

But what about the beverages?

Drinks

The Guava Dragon Fruit Sparkler for $8.50 is a non-alcoholic drink with Simply Lemonade, Topo Chico, and guava and dragon fruit syrups garnished with frozen dragon fruit. This was sweet and refreshing, even on a rainy day. The cubes of dragon fruit are beautiful and extremely tasty, but just make sure to stir them up to get all the flavors!

For the alcoholic version, order the Guava Dragon Fruit Vodka Cocktail for $19. It’s made with Vodka, Simply Lemonade, Topo Chico, and guava and dragon fruit syrups, garnished with a lemon wheel. You can also grab the Brown Sugar Milk Tea for $7.75. It’s made with Joffrey’s Coffee & Tea Co. Ceylon Tea, oat milk, brown sugar, maple, and butter pecan syrups, garnished with banana milk-inspired whipped cream.

So, should you hit up Bamboo Blessings in 2026?

Overall

We think this is a super solid booth this year, especially if you’re looking for a mix of sweet and savory options! If you’re more sensitive to texture, though, you may want to be slightly wary of some of these items, but otherwise, we say it’s absolutely worth a try!
