I wish we had thought of this sooner, the trip has been booked since last August, but we didn’t. However we will still be able to use gift cards and save a few hundred bucks. We originally made our hotel reservations thru a third party but then WDW had a big sale and changing two of our reservations would save us over $1000. So we did and now we can pay those with gift cards and save even more. Plus we’re making all credit card payments with our Disney visa (member since day one:) and getting rewards points. We bought all the gift cards at a discount so feel pretty good even if it’s only a few hundred bucks, it’s something and we feel like we kinda beat the system, a little. We’ll also use gift cards for all shopping/meals in the parks and our rewards points. I’m with you guys – let’s win Disney World!
