I go to Disney World for my job, and I have STRONG opinions about where to park at Disney Springs.
There are several options — honestly, more than you think — and it can be a difficult choice if you don’t know the ins and outs of the different locations. So today, I’m breaking down all the parking garages (and parking lots!) to help you decide where to pitch camp when you visit.
Lime Garage
The first option on the list is the most popular spot for visitors to park when going to Disney Springs. Lime Garage is located in Town Center next to The Polite Pig. It’s the closest parking option to World of Disney, Town Center, and the Marketplace area. This is typically the first parking garage to fill up on a busy day or evening at Disney Springs.
Of the parking garages, this one opens first in the morning. You’ll find security in the middle of the second floor of the garage, and once you go through security, you’ll either take an escalator, stairs, or an elevator down to the ground level to access shopping and dining.
Currently, Lime Garage is closed for a refurbishment. Disney hasn’t released many details about the changes coming, but we know it’ll be closed from January 12th through February 11th, then will reopen very briefly from February 12th through 16th, then close again from February 17th through March 13th.

Orange Garage
On the other end of Town Center, near the Coca-Cola store and AMC Theater, is the Orange Garage. This is the second most popular of the garages, but it’s usually fairly easy to find a spot here. It’s a great place to park if you want to be close to the theater or centrally located between Town Center, The Landing, and the West Side of Disney Springs.
When you park here, there are two security options — one located on the right side of the second floor and one located on the far left. The right side entrance is more popular, dropping you off by the Coca-Cola store, Planet Hollywood, and the dine-in side of AMC Theaters.
The left side entrance opens up on the West Side of Disney Springs, in between Everglazed and Splitsville, with easy access to the AMC Theaters box office side.
The right side entrance puts you more centrally located in Disney Springs, so it’s typically the one we choose.
Grapefruit Garage
One of the lesser-known parking options at Disney Springs is the Grapefruit Garage. Built a few years ago, this garage is actually located across the street from the shopping and dining district, and it’s connected to Disney Springs by a pedestrian bridge. After you walk the bridge, you’ll come out on a path next to World of Disney in the Marketplace area.
This garage isn’t always open for public parking. We’ve most often seen it open in evenings or on weekends when Disney Springs is busier — the rest of the time, it’s mostly used for Cast Member parking. If you decide to park here, you’ll go through security behind World of Disney after you cross the bridge.
This can be a less crowded spot to park on a busy night, but be prepared to put in some extra steps if you go this route.
Watermelon Lot
Moving on to the parking lots of Disney Springs, the first on our list is the Watermelon Lot. This is the most popular of the parking lots, as it’s large in size and located near prime entertainment like Cirque du Soleil and House of Blues. It’s also home to some electric vehicle charging locations.
This lot is located all the way at the end of Disney Springs on the West Side. If you park here, you go through security and enter near the Cirque du Soleil box office. You can get access to this area by following the signs that lead to Disney Springs’ “surface parking.”
This might not be the best place to park if you’re interested primarily in offerings on the Marketplace side of Disney Springs, but of the three parking lots, it has the best location.
Mango Lot
The Mango Lot is Disney Springs’ “secret” parking lot! This one isn’t shown on the maps online, but it’s tucked off to the side of the Watermelon Lot, sandwiched between that and the Orange Garage. It’s a rather small lot and really only serves the purpose of adding a few extra spots to this area.
If you park here, you’ll walk next door to the Watermelon Lot, then go through security by Cirque du Soleil. Like the other lots, it could be beneficial to park here if you’re interested in mostly visiting locations on the West Side of Disney Springs.
Strawberry Lot
Last but not least, we have the Strawberry Lot! This is located on the back side of the Cirque du Soleil building, so it’s the furthest parking option at Disney Springs. It’s primarily used for Cast Member parking, though Disney opens it to visitors when things get a bit more crowded, or they start running out of spots in the other parking lots.
We probably wouldn’t recommend parking here unless you’re desperate, because to get to the entrance/security area (the one it shares with the other lots by Cirque du Soleil), you’ll need to take a special walkway.
Its redeeming qualities are that it’s close to one of the rideshare dropoff zones and it has the best view and location for walking to Saratoga Springs Resort next door (there’s a path that connects to the hotel directly in front of the parking lot).
Other Arrival Options
So those are all the free parking options at Disney Springs, but what about other ways to arrive? Well, if you’re traveling via rideshare, there are a few different dropoff zones that you could be sent to, so make sure you’re looking closely at the map to determine the one closest to your must-do attractions.
Disney Springs also has its own bus depot, located next to Orange Garage. Here, you can board buses that go to any of the Disney World resorts. If you arrive by bus, you’ll be dropped off near the depot in the middle of Town Center, where you’ll go through security. One thing that’s important to note is that there are no longer any buses that run between Disney Springs and the parks. They used to be available in the evenings, but that option has not returned post-pandemic.
No matter how you get to Disney Springs, it’s happy news that parking remains FREE! This is a great spot to enjoy on your off day from the parks, and there’s plenty to do and see for the whole family.
