REVIEW: Just When We Thought Mickey Waffles Couldn’t Get Any BETTER

I think we just found our favorite version of Mickey Waffles EVER!

Halloween decorations are up, Oogie Boogie Bash has officially returned, and there’s brand new offerings waiting to be explored around Disneyland. If you’ve been scoping out the latest eats and treats you’ll find around Disneyland this Fall (and wondering what’s worth spending your money on while visiting), we’ve found one you NEED to add to the top of your list.

Halloween has arrived at Disneyland and with it have come some tasty new treats and snacks. Our search for the next best seasonal offering led us over to Schmoozie’s for a quick bite!

This is where we picked up the Ursula Enchanted Waffles for $11.29. We couldn’t resist the charms of dark chocolate Mickey-shaped waffles filled with ube custard and dusted with powdered sugar, so naturally, we picked up an order and set out to snack for research!

These are hands down the best waffles we have ever had from Schmoozies! Our reporter was worried they would be overly sweet because of the dark chocolate combined with the Ube custard, but they were perfection! They do have a richness to them, but the custard really paired well with the dark chocolate to our surprise. Even after trying them with syrup we were surprised to find that didn’t make them too sweet. Overall, we were FLOORED by the flavors!

These were perfect!

The texture of the waffles were on point, the custard is cooled just enough inside to ooze out of the waffles as they open, and we couldn’t can’t say enough good things about them. Our only complaint is that we wished they offered them in a multi-level pack like the Mickey beignets. After thinking that through though, that’s probably for the best because we could have easily downed 6 of these waffles in one sitting.
