Do Disney Adults born in the ’90s have it the BEST? Seriously, born in the middle of one of Disney’s greatest movie eras (we love you, Disney Renaissance), visited the parks for the first time during some of their most iconic years (RIP to the Streets of America and old EPCOT), and they now have disposable income (hopefully, tbh) in a season when Disney’s focusing on the nostalgia of the 20th century? Sounds like the LIFE.
If you’re now a 90s kid living their Disney Adult dream, things may look a little different than they did when you were growing up…and that’s okay! We’ve rounded up some of the most important park essentials for people born in the 90s — some fun, and some a little more, ahem, realistic.
Get something to save your feet!
We hate to tell you, but it might be time to start taking preventative measures when it comes to all that theme park walking! When you’re no longer a teenager, it’s easy for your feet, ankles, legs, and knees to get incredibly sore after a park day or two, and these Dr. Scholl’s Prevent Pain Insoles for Women can help.
This sunscreen is a lifesaver
In your 20s and 30s, it’s all about taking skincare seriously, and that means we’ve got to be EXTRA cautious when you’re walking around under that intense Florida sun. One of our favorite products to use is this Supergoop! Unseen Clear Face Sunscreen. It has SPF 40, and it’s a great primer for your makeup.
We love the setting powder, too!
The same brand also has this incredible Supergoop! (Re) setting Mineral Powder. It’s translucent and has SPF 35 to help keep you from getting burned. It comes in a few different shades and lies perfectly on top of any makeup you wear.
For chafing prevention, this is a MUST
One of the biggest problems you may face in the parks is chafing, and trust us, you’ll want to avoid that at all costs! The Megababe Thigh Rescue Anti-Chafe Stick is seriously helpful in that regard, and we recommend keeping one in your park bag.
Don’t forget a pair of sunglasses!
Now that we’re getting older, doing the parks without sunglasses sounds like a form of discomfort I simply do not care to endure. These Knockaround Fort Knocks Polarized Sunglasses come in a few different styles and will look great with any theme park fit!
Now, on to the fun stuff!
Now that we’ve got those not-as-fun survival products out of the way, let’s talk about some fun and nostalgic ways to level up your park style! Bucket hats were big in the ’90s, and they’ve made a comeback. We love this Disney Winnie The Pooh Bucket Hat on Amazon.
You need a cool tee?
If it’s time to level up your theme park t-shirt game, then we’ve got one that’s perfect for the ’90s kids! This Disney Hercules Hydra Battle Retro Movie Poster T-Shirt makes us feel like we’re looking at the VHS cover all over again.
Can’t forget the hair accessories
Another ’90s accessory that’s back again? Claw clips! We see them ALL the time in the parks, and if you want yours to be a little more magical, then this Kitsch & Mickey/Minnie Hair Claw with Rhinestones is the way to go.
And finally, the SOCKS
Last but not least, we’ve got another ’90s staple — the crew sock. If you want to incorporate these into your park wardrobe, what better way to do it than with the Socksense Cartoon Character Series, starring Mickey and friends?!
