Our handy (and portable!) ebook guides make sure you get the best deals and can plan a vacation of a lifetime.

I think I’m done with Disney for awhile.
We’ve been there 7 times as we raised our kids. The magic was always fairly easy to find. Disney did a great job at making the vacation care free if you knew how to plan.
Recently we endured lower standards of house keeping and maintenance at the contemporary, broken down rides, long long lightning lanes, reduction in menu items and food quality along with much higher prices (sorry beer should not be five dollars more than it was 2 years ago). It’s the little things too, like a dirty monorail, sidewalks, tables, hotel windows, hotel floors, sloooooow service and merch that feels so meh.
They even changed their popcorn recipe. Double meh.
It is very apparent that the Infamous Disney standards have fallen while prices, quality and selection has fallen. I still can’t believe that the Wilderness lodge is becoming priced out of sight.
I have been to DisneyWorld 16 times since 1975 and I too am done. You can not just go and have fun. You have to plan everything. I also agree the housekeeping and maintenance have gone down and do not get me started on the prices. I feel like I am being nickel and dimed to death.
I am going to Universal instead this June. You can still play it by ear and do what interest you at the time.
